i would certainly like to reopen this topic now that I finally have a laptop that can play more than solitaire without lagging. I agree that a bigger map would be significantly better, it was one of my major complaints about the game...also the removal of short swords and the ageis (shield) spell/enchantment...and the lack of monster diversity. Moving on, I believe having a workable Skyrim the size of the Oblivion map or even 2 or 4 times bigger than it currently is will not only be a vast improvement in the vanilla game but also turn the game into a modder's playground. Also I rather liked the DLC, however in terms of Dragonborn I would also like to see a bigger Solthsteim. I'm not so concerned with the height mapping as I feel there simply isn't enough land mass to really run around on.
