Trusting a program to take care of your load order completely isn't wise. I'm sorry but there are many things and variations on any one person's load order that cannot be handled by an automated program. As stated above, that's a starting point not the end. I'm struggling to understand the pushback from some people in letting us have the option to manually sort plugins. It's a basic feature there really shouldn't be any controversy over this.

It just sounds really annoying and convoluted when dragging and dropping plugins was much faster and easier to deal with.
  3. In response to post #57227931. #57228261 is also a reply to the same post. Sorry but you don't have to use something to know that taking control away from users is not the way to go. I don't want someone deciding for me what's the best way to deal with my load orders. I do not understand why taking control away from people is seen as a positive. Complicated load orders with merged mods and shaky conflicts require us to manually be able to work with load orders. And yes he created MO (something I wish had never been abandoned by him but that's another conversation) and in MO we have total control over what files go where and what we do with our load orders... it's a huge reason why people sing the praises of it.

  5. In response to post #50261022. In actual use it's not more complicated and it's actually easier to use than NMM once you understand how to do the basic things. It is superior for a lot of people and that's not something that will change.
  6. I truly, truly hope you release a plugin for Mod Organizer Style Virtualization at or around release for those that want it. I never liked NMM's method and Mod Organizer was simply one of the smoothest experiences for me and a lot of people I know and not having that in this Vortex would feel like a huge step back for us.
  7. Simple question: Will you be keeping MO's virtual installation/file system? That's all I want. Don't care what the name on the Mod Tool is as long as it has that.
