Mod Request(s): Turn the game into what we were promised

Fingers crossed for a multiplayer mod, anyone? I honestly think it would be easier than skyrim multiplayer and we already have that. -
LE Beast Race Non-Removable Underwear Mod
DoctorCrimson replied to DoctorCrimson's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Yes but it's also generic. It doesn't fit quite right around the tales. Let's get some improved underwear on those models. The last time I tried importing a UNP model into 3ds max, my computer froze, but it wouldn't be terribly difficult to work with existing meshes and attach them to the body, would it? -
So we've all seen the new titty-kitties and lizards on the front page lately, how long does it take to cover them up for good? If they only edit textures, they'll be covered by the UNP undies, right? I've been hoping for underwear replacer mods for over four years, and we still don't even have boxers for men or frilly lace for women (aside from armour mods.) My own 3d-modelling experience is that I have been half-way through a tacky teapot with no textures for about four months. If it comes down to it, I will eventually attempt to make a series of underwear replacers on my own, but please don't let it come to that! I suck at this, really! Down with perversion! Glory to Immersion! Much love, happy valentines, thanks for reading. I guess I better go cook the most amazing dinner ever. Wish me luck, but know I've got more than enough skill.

LE ENB that removes and replaces objects

Sweet, dude. This is radical, and I love it. -
That's perfect, thanks for your time.

LE ENB that removes and replaces objects
DoctorCrimson replied to DoctorCrimson's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
In the assumption that ENB stands for Enhanced Natural Beauty, my use of the term is fine. You're just assuming the word can only relate to injecting processes into visual rendering. It's not your fault, that's just what it's become slang for here on the nexus. I like to make it my goal in life to use English correctly at all times. Thank you for your time. Ah, but you made a good point by questioning my use of the word "objects." I suppose I mean the textures and meshes, certainly, but also the processes already used by the game if possible to change to a less system heavy setting. The idea behind the mod would, for the most part, allow any sort of game mechanic to play out on even low end rigs. Right now, all the flashy lights and interestingly detailed in-game objects can start to put strain on most systems during routine tasks like combat. In extreme cases animations like sitting down or walking at a casual pace can slow a system down. I'm talking about an extreme downgrade, stripping Skyrim of all but it's most fundamental parts. but I'll settle with slight light changes if it might improve performance. Maybe a couple elder scrolls from now I'll have learned enough to give making myself it a try. -
I'm expected to believe every Dragonborn has this god given ability to spawn an bountiful and decorative house out of thin air? Build your own house was a great mod because it requires us to put a little effort in before we can feel accomplished. How about this; four walls, thick cobblestone, no window, and built into a wall across the ditch in the lowest district in Whiterun. We don't have shelves packed to the brim with food, or even a stove. We have to store our items in a ridiculously large sack we were fortunate to find, and we sleep on a pile of hay. We don't even have a real cell, we're just separated from the rest of the city by a metal gate. Not even the other homeless would want to wander in here. The only reason you're even here is because it's better than sleeping in the woods with the cut-throats and bloodthirsty animals. Still, having a place to go is nice and we can't expect to carry our junk around with us forever, can we? If you already know of a mod like this please let me know about it. I'll probably get around to making it myself if I really feel the need for a justifiably immersive player home.

Check out Skyrim Gems. Nothing as extravagant as starting a stall or monopolizing the armour trade, but you can be a farmer, sail a ship, or revamp the economy to be more (or less) worth your while even without owning it.

There are a ton of ENB mods out there and all the authors are so impressed with their work, boasting high performance and graphics, but I ask you this: Can an ENB IMPROVE performance?! I think of a mod changed the ground textures to be more appealing, maybe edited the rock meshes and plants a bit, but also removed many of the loadable objects that don't do much for the environment that it could drastically improve performance. If a mod already does that, aside from seasons of skyrim winter, please let me know. It sounds so easy, just go for that nice summer feel. PROTIP: I may not be a good modder, but I can never paint a good summer portrait without having actually experienced summer recently.
