Hello ! Im doin a playtrough of fallout 3 and im about 70 hours into the game, my question is if i randomly explore the map and enter random interiors/locations will it break quests ? I remember in fallout 4 i randomly explored and talked to an npc and later when the quest to meet this guy activated he wouldnt have that specific talking line and then i couldnt complete the quest... This is why im asking if walking around randomly is recommended.. isee that my question is answered for skyrim before when i google but never for fallout 3, thanks for any reply ! -
Hello ! I just ran loot and it shows alot of bash tag suggestions for uuf3p mod, some of the tags dont even exist in wrye flash for me to apply. i tried to apply those that were available but then i got an error making the bash patch, removing those bash tags i could make the bash patch again.. Hello again. Once again i have a problem wich i have tried to fix this weekend with no luck. So i installed darnui with its hotfix patch, merged the patch to the darnui main file. I started new game, walked around, killed enemies next to superduper mart with mmm increased spawn option set to " increased increased spawns " and sometimes at random ( no matter wich enemy i shoot or engage with or just walk around at random ) the map markers like at bottom left they seem to be stuck. if i had 3 raiders in front of me say, there is a chance for those 3 red markers in the map to get stuck, when i move around i can see other enemies behind the 3 wich are stuck, also undiscovered locations move, ( also the location gets stuck too at random with enemies depends where i look and when this glitch happens ) So yeah.... Anyone got a fix ? Sorry for repeating stuff so much but my english is not the greatest lol.. and i dunno how exactly to explain, hopefully someone understand.. Also i tried with ONLY darn ui enabled, this still happens, i reverted fallout.ini and falloutprefs.ini to vanilla it still happens, i tried with and without uio mod, same happens.. when the uio mod puts a menu folder in overwrite in mo2, and i put that menu folder in uio still the same, if i delete the menu still the same... sometimes with luck, this issue doesnt seem to happen.. i deleted darnui completly and fresh installed it , same with uio, no luck. this is so random that i cant possibly know how to fix, at one time i thought i fixed it, started new game 3 times it didnt happen, the fourth time it happend and i was like mind blown and now im here asking if anyone knows... This glitch does not occur when darnui is uninstalled. i tried, trust me... Thanks for any replies !

Hello ! I been following the modding guide by markie86 on nexus, downloaded his pdf file and followed the instructions. However googling a bit beforehand i saw people absolutely NOT recommending the fallout stutter remover mod, instead using the " New vegas Anti crash " But then again, i also followed the kelmych guide on the STEP forums.. He also chooses to download fsr. My question is however, the mod " Increased Heap Allocation " on nexus, isnt it the same as fallout stutter remover ? The reason why im asking if Fallout stutter remover is identical to Increased heap allocation mod is that these both mods have this line in them: iHeapSizeInMB=768 except fsr has a few more lines if i remember correctly.. I have mine set to 768 and havent experienced any issues, i also tried 400, 500 ( 768 is the max according to mod author ) so yeah can anyone give a little insight ? What " FIX " mods do u guys recommend removing / keeping ? I got the following installed: https://prnt.sc/vj4eo5 Check the image. Also what i have noticed, is that mmm ( Martigens Mutant Mod ) Is causing massive lag, if u turn around in the world, one spot will be laggy, turning 180degrees no lag.. this is super annoying.. i got paradox igniton patch and blackened patch.. i ran wrye bash while having blackened patch disabled, and then when bash patch finished i moved blackened ( eve, project beauty, mmm version not using fwe ) moved that esp to the very bottom below bash patch even as suggested doing google searches.. I am nearly at the completion of starting a new game after over 2 months of hardcore modding and testing etc etc and finally kinda getting into fo3edit and fixing lots of issues, for example eve wouldnt show up its unique weapon textures for wattz rifle for unique gun for example wazer wifle, all i had to do was open the bash patch, move a few lines from one end to a conflict winner esp and boom fixed.. one thing after the other is slowly getting smooth, but yet i have no advanced experience ... Kinda getting off topic but my main question was iheapallocation line in both fsr and increased heap allocation mod on nexus if i should remove the iheapallocation mod cause its almost similiar to fsr and i googled and people say fsr isnt good anymore and it got replaced with new vegas anti crash...

Hello ! Yesterday i found out a fix, for you guys who love the EVE mod, but get random freezes when using laser weapons or sometimes when the cars explode ! All you have to do really is delete the file in the EVE/meshes/effects folder, called " impactlasernonliving01.nif " Deleting this file and i have no freezes no more !! Either the nif file is broken ( hopefully someone with nif fixing experience ) can fix that file.. But here is the kind if sad part, doing this will make it so when u shoot ur laser weapon on the ground or walls, an red exclemation mark will appear, however its easy to fix this. I copied another impact files from same folder with fire effect, renamed it to " impactlasernonliving01.nif " and now eve works !! Though i liked the original nif file effect more but yeah.. temporary fix.. With the original " impactlasernonliving01.nif " i froze about 15 mins into the game when shooting raiders, with mmm spawn options set to " increased increased spawns " .. also i started new game each time.. After i deleted the file, i didnt freeze for over 1 hour of shooting raiders in interiors and exteriors no crash !! Again started new game ! Mind u i quit the game after a bit over an hour and didnt " ctd or freeze " after that 1 hour so no missunderstandings. Hope this helped someone !

The fallout.ini in my case in in mod organizer 2's profile folder. And it is setup correctly, i just bought steam version of fo3 to see if the same happened there. This time i manually patched both the fallout3.exe and fose_loader.exe with the 4gb patch. Also added the two " bUseThreadedAI=1 and iNumHWThreads=2 " lines into mod organizer 2's own ini files.. Still freezing with laser weapons, so no luck there either.. Yeah well, all i want is for it to not freeze :sad:

Hello and thank you for the reply ! I have two m.2 disks, fallout 3 is not installed in programfiles or programfiles x86. Its installed in my second m.2 drive G:\fallout 3 so no admin issues. Also the game is bought from gog so the 4gb is enabled in fallout3.exe Yes these lines are pre installed by gog version of fallout 3 in : fallout.ini bUseThreadedAI=1 iNumHWThreads=2 Yes as i mentioned, i used fallout 3 tick fix without fsr.. also with it after disabling 2 lines in fsr wich was recommended in a modding guide on nexus. Several times i started new game with these two mods fsr and tick fix together and seperated.. same freeze with laser pistol and rifle. I also wrote this issue on the official eve site on nexus and a user said he might know what the issue is but due to rights he cannot tell... But thanks for reply !

Hello ! I posted in other section of the forum here, but ill post here too.. sorry for double post.. So i just installed windows 10 again, after the previous post.. i just installed mo1 instead of mo2, and installed fose version 1.3 b2 ( last time i did 1.2 b2 fose ) installed unoficial patch, fallout stutter remover ( and tick fix except then i disabled fsr, still same ctd ) nvac anti vegas crash, increased heap allocation, out of memory fix, fo3 mod limit fix, eve, mmm, mmm update patch, blackened mmm, and moved mmm esp and esm to optionals, and finally alternate start... also fo3 is 4gb enabled since its bought from gog.com.. still whenever i use laser pistol on any enemy, or laser rifle, the game freezes... also what i just noticed is when i explode a car and enemies are close to it, the game freezes then too, not always but there is this chance of it happening, like once every 4 - 5 tries....... if anyone out there got a fix for this it would be insane, like these two mods i cannot play fo3 without :sad:(( its too badass !! My system specs: Asus maximus x hero i9 9900k 32 gig tridentz ram 3600 mhz two m.2 disks samsung pro and .. evo plus somethign, 512gb and 1tb the other. xpensive stuff.. evga gtx 1080 ti ftw3 and yeah its a good pc, so i dont think its hardware related ( i hope ) all other games run just fine, im about to buy fallout new vegas to see if the same crashes appear there with eve and mmm enabled.. but please if anyone got any fix for these freezes please share !!!!!!!!! this is super not cool....... attached a picture... https://prnt.sc/vc3qlw

Hello ! So i did a fresh install of windows 10, got all updates etc.. latest and old c++ aio packages uknow everything good. So i installed then fo3 from gog.com, it comes 4gb enabled and whatnot. installed mo2, unoficial patch, onetweak, nvac new vegas anti crash, fallout 3 tick fix mod, increased heap allocation, out of memory fix, fo3 mod limit fix. these mods are the current " fix mods " i got installed, ok next these two mods combined makes the game ctd\freeze when killed around 40 - 60 raiders, or other monsters with laser weapons. currently ive only tried with laser pistol. but it will guaranteed also happen with the laser rifle. The only mods enabled are those " fixes " mentioned, and eve and mmm.. i also tried with blackened mmm and eve version mod, and without it.. both methods same ctd with laser pistol. also did the paradox ignition merged file for mm, and without it.. ( moved all mmm esp / esm to optionals and enabled the blackened mmm file ) same freeze with laser pistol.. tried with disabled new enemies in mmm ingame menu, same ctd. tried increased increased spawns , and the 1 - 3 option same freeze.......... im also running enb, tried without and with enboost.. the one " fix mod " i got installed has the enboost feature buildt into it, cant remember wich of the fixes it was.. it does a better job than enb boost and i think i noticed it took the game a bit more time to freeze than with enboost enabled.... ( and i have started a new game and tested this over 100 times atm )...... all ini files are correctly configured, i also tried with merged and bash patch, and only with bash patch , and only merge patch same results.. also tried smashed patch same result... I can run around the game with player.setav speedmult 500 and tgm, and not ctd once while running around like a maniac trying to force the game to crash.. but it does not crash, only when using laser weapon on enemy, or enough enemies it eventually freezes.. also sometimes the game freezes for a sec, and then the enemy marker on the map gets stuck, if i move around the enemy icon on the map is like stuck in place... i can run for about 30 mins around the map ( with player.setlevel 30 so all modded weapons comes etc ) game will not crash, and this is with 160 enabled plugins and increased increased spawns in mmm settings.. game is incredible stable ! ofc except with laser weapons.. What is weird is that most of the time right before the game freezes, it looks like when u blow the enemy head up, they still stand up try to pick up their gun , then die again and sometimes when that happens it freezes, but most of the time it doesnt when this happens ....... Please if anyone got a fix for this i will appreciate it 110% !!!!!! if it comes to it ill just have to avoid laser pistols when i decide to go with a playtrough :/ a few small things i can mention, my rig: i9 9900k, evga 1080ti ftw3, 32 gig tridentz ram, m.2 samsung 512gb, another m.2 samsung 1tb super ultra fast xpensive stuff, so my rig is not the problem.. i installed fo3 in my second m.2 drive with 1 tb, its at G:\fallout 3 so no admin issues or simialir problems.. Cleaned the dlc as gamerpoets did on youtube, loot correctly installed, wrye flash, mator smash, fo3edit etc bethini etc etc.... And yes i got ssd. Bought an m.2 drive samdung 970 pro 512gb and samsung 970 plus 1tb everything will be installed to this in future. -

Hello guys ! My enblocal settings are optimized. Trust me when i say this. I literally tried 99% of settings in enb local to see what the differences was.. 27323 and 1024 are in the memory settings. Im also thinking, that yes it might be that skyrim itself is bottlenecked and not my system.. but, here is the fact, i had i5 6600cpu, i did benchmark test , i ran from outside of riverwood to whiterun, it was stuttery ( with player.setav speedmult 300 - 200 tried both ) not that bad stutter, but it was there few times 1 - max 2 sec freeze and again about 55 - 60 fps ( lowest inside riverwood and a bit outside and more outside whiterun about 49 fps ) . I should note when i started the saved game where i tested 3 different cpu, it had likr 45 fps( no overclock ) i then tried with i7 7700k wich i had . When startin my save from where i tried the i5 6600k , fps was 51. Ok improvement. The stutter also was kinda less and from 1 - 2 sec delay freeze to about 1 - 1.5 .. or was it just my mind playing trick with me ? I then tried overcclocking cpu to 5.0ghz. And it topped to 60 ( enb fps limit on 60 ) i will further test stuff but im waiting on other pc parts and i might have to reinstall everything i have done in skyrim since new os install. I like it fresh. -
Hello. I recently upgraded my rig from i7 7700k to i9 9900k. Also got my second evga gtx 1080 ti GPU yesterday. Thing is, i did see a fps boost, but stutters...... they are still there. I have mods like ETAC combined with jk skyrim lite & superlite, decent ammount of 4k - 2k textures etc but damn... i thought my setup would atleast handle skyrim stutters a bit better.... i mean they are definetly better, kinda.. but hmm yeah , so basically my question is, anyone here running skyrim ( OLDRIM ) on rtx 2080 ti ? maybe in SLI ? is it helping more with frametimes smooth gameplay 0 stutter ? i really am wondering , just throwing my wallet and getting double rtx 2080 ti's ...... but...... help......

I should add that i have NOT downloaded ALL mods from the srle guides. Wich u guys probably will notice. i am barely halfways. I putted the various patch files that requires masters wich i havent added yet to optionals in mo2 since wrye bash wanted the masters even though the esps were disabled....

So let me get to it, im playing skyrim LE, with MO2. running enboost and crashfixes ( all necessary fixes cleaned esms trough tes5edit quickautoclean etc) also bashed, smashed, dyndolod ( planning on adding more mods until i get it stable with ones i have enabled now ) im doing a mix of skyrin srle guide by darth mathias and skyrim reqtified guide along with my custom added mods ( mostly creature spawns ) here is my mod load order. https://textuploader.com/1dkc7 PLEASE help me figure out the cause of ctd after so many years of modding i keep reinstalling skyrim for years now modding it more than playing it :( literally 90% modding 10% playing since skyrim came out.... not constantly but yeah u get my drift.... thanks !!!!!

zombie1boy: Yes , i do. I tried with, and without parallax textures. tamriel reloaded hd, project parallax with noble skyrim. This is not the issue, the issue is having fixparallaxterrain=true in enblocal.ini , while launching skyrim (skse) trough Mod organizer 2, WITH UAC Setting set to " the default setting " so that a popup shows everytime u launch an application on your pc and you click yes, THEN skyrim will not ctd. if however i put the UAC settings to " never notify " ( so when you open modorganizer .exe file you DO NOT get the popup saying this program needs admin rights etc ) then skyrim will ctd..... i dont know how to explain it simpler i wish my english was better :sad: https://www.dummies.com/wp-content/uploads/282698.image0.jpg ^ this setting, if it is set to " never notify " the option at the bottom, skyrim WILL ctd with fixparallaxtexture=true with or without parallax textures.. if it is set to the third option, like two above the " never notify " then i get a pop up when i launch mod organizer this app needs admin rights , i click YES , and then skyrim WILL NOT ctd with fixparallaxterrain=true........... I think this has been an issue with many people with enb in the past, because this is a step you need to do on some machines i think.. WsLite: Iknow man, read ^ help :(

Hi. So the trouble is, whenever Fixparallaxterrain is set to true, i ctd immediately in exteriors. If i shift + enter when skyrim starts in main meny, and turn off enb and go ingame i do not ctd, even if i enable the enb ingame.... I tried with vividian enb and project enb too also different enb versions, it happens everytime with fixparallaxterrain=true ( with or without parallaxtextures ) I tried to make enbhost and skse run as admin, my game launched with no ctd the first time with this, so i thought i should change uac settings to lowest and restart pc, but nop ctd again after restart....... This first happend before i reinstalled windows 7 cause i thought skyrim performance monitor was causing it, but turns out it didnt.... if i run SKSE trough Skyrim performance monitor, i wont ctd no matter what.... I mean i can run with fixparallaxterrain=true 100times in exteriors when launching trough SPM, but not trough Mod organizer 2 wich i am using for skyrim legendary edition.. I got windows 7 64 but, 32 gig ram, gtx 1080ti, i mean my rig is decent so dunno man... confusing :/ Also running skyrim trough its directory ( game directory ) and doubleclicking skse.exe it works, no ctd, with fixparallaxtextures set to true...... wtf ? why is mod organizer 2 so weird with that setting ? truely weird this , i also tried giving the prog admin rights , and enbhost and skse and skyrim launcher no luck.. running out of ideas please help guys !! and i cannot go back to mod organizer 1 cause it cant run 64bit dyndolod i got lotsa stuff to put in :( AND YES, i tried running skyrim from mo disabling EVERYTHING of mods, with only the enb.. the game will work 1 out of 20 times when running skse trough MO2 with fixparallaxterrain=true

Insanely nice someone is updating an already awesome mod !!!!! If you could , PLEASE add a feature , so that whenever u kill a big enemy say a big radroach , or super mutant behemoth , tiny spiders / radroaches / some other creatures spawn out of that huge enemy !!! that would be beyond awesome i miss it since i played unreal gold in the 2000's :/ pleaspleaseplease i could also make it i have tried my very best the few days searching for " modding tutorials " since i REALLLLLLYYYY want this in FO4, i feel like it would be , like , the bomb man..... the bomb... -
Hello. I really want to make a mod, where if you kill a big radroach, 5 smaller radroaches spawn from that big radroach when it dies. Also someone know of a word for this ? like, smaller critter from 1 big critter, i tried googling to see if anyone else had made something similiar , but i dont know what to write in google it gave me no results.. I remember in the good old days when i played unreal gold , there were big enemies, and whenever u killed them smaller enemies appeared, and when u killed those smaller enemies a bunch of smaller spiders spawned it was insanely sweet !!!!!!! PLEASE someone need to make this happen or someone needs to kick me in the right direction to make this im 110 % totally into doin this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello again. I got a simple question. In the left pane on mod organizer, what wins ? Lets say i put 2k textures higher up in the priority list ( priority 5 for example ) and then vivid landscapes in priority 10 a bit down.. if vivid landscapes gets a red bar all around it when i click 2 k textures then 2k won against vivid right ? I always thought priority 5 wins over 10 cuz, well it got higher priority.. note im talking about the left pane, not the right pane.. Thanls for any answers :)

Same here. I think its something gotta do with lanterns of skyrim and dyndolod on my part, maybe u could try load ordering or , check what other mod is overwriting lanterns.. if using MO click lanterns on skyrin on left side and check what other mods gets highlighted. I havent found fix yet at work atm.
