  1. I've been working on a mesh for a while creating some custom armor, everything seemed to be going great. But now that it's done and I've started trying to use it in game, I find that the armor visual stays on a character once the armor is worn. If I remove the armor, you still see it's appearance on the character. If I change to a different armor, I'll now see the appearance of both armors. I've opened the racemenu and changed to a different body type - I'll end up with the new body type, but STILL also see the old armor and body type. I've even swaped out the .nif file and restarted only to find it still there... So it looks like something is wrong in the nif file that makes it so that unequiping the armor does not remove the appearance of the armor. Has anyone encountered this and have any ideas how to fix my .nif?
  2. I'm just getting into modding and I'm starting out by trying to create my own custom body meshes just by altering some premade meshes. I've of course found plenty of tutorials for creating custom armor, but I'm getting lost trying to convert the nif files back to skyrim after modding them in blender. There's lots of steps listed in the tutorials that don't seem to be relevent when you're working with just the base body (no armor). Can anyone point me to a step by step tutorial that would help with altering body (not armor) meshes for skyrim?
  3. I'm making some NPCs to add to the Leveled Character Lists by changing the premade NPCs and changing the ID and name. The problem I am having is that after I remove the random armor and helmet lists in their inventory and replace them with my own, I find that in the game they will still be wearing armor from the list that I removed. They will also not be carrying anything that I've added to their inventory. I can go in and change hairstyles or something like that and it shows up in game just fine, but any changes I make in the inventory don't seem to have any effect in game. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing my altered NPCs to be reverting to whatever inventory the premade NPCs had?
  4. I'm trying to figure out what makes dragon corpses in the game heavy enough to be immovable, and if this can be applied to normal NPCs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
