 What I've been thinking. What would it cost? $20K-$30K US dollars to hire a professional computer engineer? One rich trust baby could pay it off with spare change.  Alternatively, as I've repeatedly argued, crowd fund with many contributing. I'm not sure of the legality of it, but if we're able to crowd fund I'd put some money down on it.

That's what I was doing, but after a while not even that would help. Once I updated, none of my saves that had the bug were crashing anymore on save. I also uninstalled immersive citizen AI so maybe that contributed.

I started getting this bug a little over a month ago (load the game, try to save, instant CTD). I google for a solution to this and all I could find was the simple method of loading an old save, saving, kill self, load bugged save on death animation, kill self, and then you're able to save again. While this seemed to work like a charm, the next time I booted up skyrim same thing happened, CTD on save. I soon learned after that I didn't have to go through that tedious process that I listed before; all I had to do was load the game, kill self each time I wanted to play skyrim. Problem is, eventually it got to a point where nothing I did would prevent the CTD and the save was lost. In all my years of modding skyrim I have never encountered this bug before, I figured it was just some anomaly that happened when I first began this play through. So, I started anew, played for about a week, and guess what? CTD on freaking save. That brings me here. Why exactly is this happening? I tried googling the causes of this and I can barely find anything on it. Has anyone here ever encountered this bug? If so, what did you do to prevent it? Any help would be appreciated.

Yep, tried every option there was, nothing worked. I read somewhere that the problem went away when someone reinstalled RealTek, so I guess I'll try that next lol. Thanks though

I'm using an Acer Aspire with a ATI High Definition Audio Device. I've been playing Skyrim on this for a couple years now without any issue until recently. This problem occurred a month ago, and then it just disappeared for a while.

I'm also having trouble with this same issue. I was able to reduce it by uninstalling RealTek and using window's audio, as well as updating my BIOS. Its down to a more tolerable level but its still pretty annoying, I'm able to reset it by alt tabing in and out. I have no idea whats causing it as my game runs very smooth and my script latency is where it should be. This might solve your issue, but hopefully someone else will reply with a solution.

I installed a mod that alters the terrain, and of course I have the floating grass bug. I followed everything from the creation kit guide, but I still have floating grass. However I didn't actually delete my past saves, I moved them out of the save folder. Is this my problem? Do I need to delete my save through the game? Thanks in advanced
