  1. Sorry for the delay, I had assumed the thread would die, so I didn't click refresh for a while. You seem to have deleted the linked image. Thanks for taking the time to do it though.
  2. I can texture alright. If you could make the mesh and colour parts of the texture in block for where parts should be IE the blade part of the texture done block red, the hilt in block green... Thanks for the offer.
  3. I am trying to make a skyrim mod, and it's not being too unsuccesful at the moment, but I've reached a little blockade. I have a unique weapon with visual effects and everything, but currently it is using a placeholder mesh, so if anyone could either: 1. recommend a good 1 handed sword resource that I can use freely 2. actually make one (I doubt this will happen, but I would be eternally grateful if they did.) The easiest way to bean this bug i should think would be to open Skyrim's main file and Update file in CK, then manually delete any E3 demo code, as some looking around in the CK shows that it was meant to have been taken out. Definately the easiest thing to do as any number of mods can cause this. At one point a beard replacer for the greybeards caused it :D.
  5. unfortunately, this bug was programmed into the game for the E3 demo, but they were never properly taken out, they were left there and just turned off. certain mods can "activate" the demo codes.
  6. THANK YOU SO MUCH :D i have too many mods so i was too scared to delete the textures and meshes folder and redo it :D. long distance trees were huge jungle trees that transformed into little spruce trees up close :D

  8. im confused as to how added power would aid pickpocket... also perhaps the triforce could be obtained after the 3 gems were obtained at the end of dungeons, and the triforce was behind a door that required the 3 gems to open, but when the triforce was added, it would check your stats and depending on what levels they were, it would split, so if your highest level was in the power section, you would keep the power piece, if it was in courage, then you'd keep the courage piece, and if it was in wisdom you'd keep the wisdom piece. eg a character with LV80 2handed as it's highest stat, then the character would only keep the piece of power. then it would send you on a quest to find the other two pieces which are with 2 who it would fit eg. wisdom would go to some sort of super-mage, maybe a greybeard, if the player was not the wisdom one. courage would go to maybe aela or skjor or someone in the companions, and power would go to the most powerful person, perhaps which ever of ulfric or tullius was not dead. also perhaps with light arrows you can carry more than 3, but it drains a hell of a lot of magicka, stamina and health, say a 3rd of your total or something. How about the boomerang does a bit of knockback and temporary stagger or paralysis. when I was playing OOT i noticed that it was only damaging the jellyfish and was stunning most other things.
  9. I was reaaaaaaaallllly disappointed with the dragon riding in Dragonborn DLC, as I was kinda expecting it to be something relatively interesting. My mod idea is for some other champion-type character, perhaps another dovahkiin, to become a sort of rival. the mod would take the form of a series of quests, in a similar style to that of the companions, or thieves guild, with a main questline and a dynamic side-questline for it. The main quests would start after the player slept (after at least the odahviing trap scene, so these dragons recognise them as a powerful dragon master), and were teleported to a mountain clearing. then a dragon elder (not an elder dragon, and dragon "wiseman") (sort of like parthunaax) would tell a backstory to thise rival. it says that the rival is gathering an army of dragons and mortals in order to destroy the dragon legion ( the dovahkiin's side) and then rule tamriel. the main questline would start with the dragonborn recruiting 2 solitary dragons (this would be in the form of 1: fight a dragon. 2: use a certain shout on it. 3: once the shout is used the dragon will stop being hostile and will land. 4: speak to the dragon. 5: use the speak function to recruit the dragon IE. using persuasion checks, or offering something to the dragon. 6: find another dragon. when the player went back the the dragon clearing they would find the dragon they had recruited was there. the main questline would go on to involve eventually destroying the rival, only the rival cannot be destroyed and instead must be bound to 4 dragon "keepers". (this would pretty much be get 4 of something from his dead body and persuade each keeper dragon to take a piece). the dragons would be in hard to reach places, maybe at the end of a long dungeon or up a particularly high mountain. the side quests would be a mix of recruiting certain named dragons which could be found at their own dragon burials or word wall type area, and destroying the rival's dragons, or converting them. A main point that I cannot do this myself is the scripting, because i SUCK at it. I couldn't even get the hello world tutorial to work. The mod would have to make a large point out of better dragon riding, perhaps where instead of the dragon just moving itself, when you mounted the dragon, you were forced into 3rd person and the camera zoomed out enough to comfortably fit the dragon entirely on the screen, and then the dragon was moved with either the look control ( I mean look, not mouse, because I play with a 360 controller), and 2 shouts could be equipped at a time, one on the Left attack key and one on the right attack key, assigned through the favorites menu, similar to the vampire lord and werewolf. the speed of the dragon would be controlled with the move key, the sprint or power key would toggle between using the rider's attacks on L and R attacks and the dragons L and R attacks. to land, the player would press the sneak key. this would make the dragon search for the nearest flat enough land. when landed, the dragon would use it's bite with the ready weapon key and to dismount, the activate key would be pressed. the jump key would set the target lock feature, because otherwise the dragon would be almost impossible to control. in auto lock the dragon would circle until the locked thing was killed or unlocked. I assume this would require SKSE or something similar, though SKSE would be better because it's more common and is less likely to conflict with other script extenders. The player would also at some point receive their own personal dragon that could be summoned with a shout, and that would use whatever odahviing textures are currently in use by the player, including those from external mods. I say this because I really like the odahviing from the feathered dragon mod. This dragon would level with the player, and would start pretty weak, with a weak bite and only a weak fus shout and weak projectile shout. during the quests, perhaps after every side quest was completed, the player would recieve a token. these tokens could be taken to an altar to get upgrades for the dragon, such as 2 tokens would upgrade the armor, 4 for a new shout, 3 for increased magic OR physical damage, 2 for increased handling or speed... also a midget dragon follower would be nice too. I can write all the backstory and come up with the questline and dragon and character names etc. all I need is someone to actually make the codes.
  10. I got the idea for this after I played through original LoZ, LoZ: ocarina of time, LoZ: spirit tracks and LoZ: twilight princess. After playing these games I decided it would be worthwhile putting it all into my favorite open world game, so I searched for hours and ran loads of downloads to eventually add pretty much every aspect of LoZ i could find into Skyrim. I noticed that there was a lot of mods for identical things, several hundred link and master sword mods, a few hylian shields and majora's masks, a few world mods. But the things I had really been looking for I couldn't find. I think it would be awesome to follow the adventures and exploits of Princess Zelda, who has real potential, as she is clearly the goddess Hylia. For this reason, I would like either a mod or a set of mesh/texture resources that puts Zelda into Skyrim. These are what I would need (in descending order of importance) I am happy for multiple people to work on them, but to be clear on what is being done just post what you'd do. If only one can be done, please the first one: -- Princess Zelda outfit (Twilight princess).(http://www.fanpop.com/clubs/the-legend-of-zelda/images/32057004/title/princess-zelda-twilight-princess-concept-art-photo (First and second pictures) ) not really a conventional outfit though, so meshes would completely remove the original body in order to wear this, and would replace it with proper zelda-like look, in the same sort of style to this brilliant mod:http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20123 (obviously this would have to work with spell casting animations and stuff, preferably whatever animations were being used by the game, so custom animations could be used) -- The Ocarina of time, with lesser powers for changing time to morning/night (sort of an auto-wait), calling a storm, summoning a horse, calming (zelda's lullaby), and one acting like a projectile key, opening whatever it hits, if a condition is met eg. 3 gems on a pedestal. all these preferably would play the appropriate sound from LoZ: OOT -- Princess zelda's sword from TP -- The miscellaneous Zelda items. I know some of these probably already exist, but I can't find them. what I would want is the 3 gems from OOT (kokiri emerald, zora sapphire, goron ruby), the 6/7 amulet things, not sure exactly how many there are, and the Tri-force (obviously something like this exists, but the ones I've found dont seem to look very nice, too triangular. doesn't look much like it's ancient and relic.) -- A new casting appearance option thats sort of a small triforce held in the hand that spins and is surrounded by the restoration glow) -- the spells from OOT ( Din's fire, farore's wind and Nayru's Love) ( All I need is the art animations for Nayru's Love, and some telling how to add them. effect would be as simple as dragonskin boosted to 100%) -- miscellaneous textures such as hover boots, kokiri sword and wooden shield, a hookshot with the telekinesis effect. very grateful to whoever makes these, if anyone.
