Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but hey. This is more or less a signal boost for a game named "Need for Madness". It's been out for quite a few years now, and was created by Omar Waly, who is the founder of "Radical Play". It's described as a "very mad car racing, crashing and stunt performing game". I'm not usually interested in games involving cars, but this isn't like your ordinary ones. If you're looking for something a little different, and slightly askew, then I suggest you give it a go. NFM 1, NFM 2 and NFM multiplayer

Doesn't starting the stormcloak questline immediately lock you from starting the imperial questline? That would make this impossible. "While the Jagged Crown is in the possession of the Dragonborn, they can also decide to travel to the capital city of the opposition to hand over the crown to either General Tullius in Solitude or Jarl Ulfric Stormcloak in Windhelm. The leader of the opposing faction will accept the crown and unceremoniously recognize the Dragonborn as a member of their faction. From there on, the Dragonborn will fight the Civil War for their new allies."

It's a pity you can only ask about the Argonians outside Windhelm. I remember them all being very friendly. Anyway, on the Stormcloak vs. Imperial debate, I think I've finished up at joining the Stormcloaks until I retrieve the Jagged Crown, and then taking it to the Imperials to win their favour and anger the Stormcloaks even more. I figure the Imperials need buttering up and it's so easy to use the Stormcloak's rage against themselves.

Can you do something for the Argonians if you achieve the Stormblade rank? It's true that he doesn't care about his own race any more than other races, but if he feared that there was a risk that they'd turn against him, he would help them. Before he stumbled into Skyrim, he would be very familiar with other assassin guilds/factions in other parts of Tamriel, and will most certainly have known of the Dark Brotherhood. He may have even been a Shadowscale in the past, I'm not sure. Anyway, so his reasoning for killing Grelod the Kind was to aggravate the Dark Brotherhood and draw their attention to him, since he wasn't aware of their location or any other way of contacting them.

There's nothing for you to win in this war, is it? If so, then stay out of it. Nothing worth risking your scaly hide for. Let these idiots bash their heads in while you use the noise as a cover to commit your crimes. I'd like to stay entirely true to character, but it just isn't practical. There are things that need doing that I cannot do without the war gone. That's my reason for doing this, I just need one for him. Involving himself in the war isn't worth the measly loot that he may or may not receive, so that isn't the attraction. I suppose he's just trying to vie for the affections of the most exploitable side, whilst clearing himself of any suspicion that he has gained. So what's his aim, destination, drive, goal in live? He is too robotic to allow himself any ambition, but like every other living creature, he has an innate desire to stay alive. I suppose that's what drives him to do whatever he does, but unlike most humans, he doesn't contemplate death. He'd just instinctively rather not die. Actually, that opens up another reason for him involving himself in the civil war. He will, whenever he can, let others exert themselves so he can reap the benefits without getting his hands dirty, but I'd imagine (although it would be somewhat perilous) a battle would be a good way to gain experience so that he may use the skills he learns in later life.

Thank you for your input, Kane. I have thought about his motive for joining, yes, but I haven't managed to come to a conclusion on that yet either. The war is not disrupting him or his professions, and although the Penitus Oculatus were a threat, they've mostly dissipated and are now only an irritation. However, the Imperials must have their suspicions about my Argonian, and if I side with them, there are two outcomes. Either the Imperials, when the Stormcloaks have been shooed away, will turn on me, or, recognizing that I played a key part in their victory, will clear me of suspicion or consider me too much of an asset (or too dangerous and not worth the lives of their men) to try and kill me. I think one of the latter is most feasible.

I understand this is a very elderly question, and I have gone through this choice before, but I'm at the point where I'm allowed to decide again. The only trouble is that I'm not deciding what I, personally, would do - it's what this character would choose. I'll give you a brief summary of his personality. He's an Argonian (dual-wielding, archer and illusionist) and is very much involved with the Thieves Guild and the Dark Brotherhood, but he has no fondness for either. He just views them as an asset. You can probably gather some information from that statement alone, but I'll continue. He has no interest in morals, but neither money or recreation. It is more accurate to say that he exists rather than lives, but he is not in any way depressive. He is unconditionally rational, which has caused him to abandon anything that may tempt him to stray from the most logical path, which includes emotion. I suppose you could describe him as a machine, but one programmed by himself. I hope that's given anyone willing to help some sort of clue. I feel as if he would suit the Imperials more, since he is in no way bothered by oppression and would never be blinded by anger towards anything, unlike the Stormcloaks. Then again, we're not talking about suitability here. It's what he can see himself getting out of either, or even both, sides from an impartial stance. Assuming he even has a reason for involving himself in this war, what would be the most rational decision for an individual who profession is primarily exploiting anyone in order to serve himself. An irrefutable arse, put bluntly.

I've suddenly got this smokey/steamy effect rising from my character's feet (in both third and first person). Originally, I thought it was because of my "footprints" mod, but I disabled that and nothing changed. I do believe I noticed this problem after/during an exploration of a Dwarven/Dwemer ruin (Nchuand-Zel to be precise). If I return to a save file before the ruins, the effect is not there. Any ideas of how to get rid of this problem?
-
I'm sure it's possible since they are saber cat mounts with custom colors out there. I have Automatic Variants, if that makes a shred of difference.

Thank you for this. I really don't know who to go to for making the mod "standalone". Would it be easier to make a deer and elk mount separately and not use this "Mike's Mystical Mounts" mod, and make them standalone? It is quite messy and removes the roof from the Whiterun stables. I really don't know where to start.
-
OK, I have installed Nifskope and the DDS plugin. Could you tell me where to find the textures that I need to edit? Also, should I open them through GIMP? I'm also not sure how I can reserve my new textures for these mounts and not all deer and elk.
-
I've noticed that Nexus, along with the mod manager, has been having some issues recently. Try re-installing.

I would like to re-texture two mounts from the "Mike's Mystical Mounts" mod. Is there anyone who can instruct me or lead me to a tutorial? The mounts in question are the deer and elk mount, if anyone is at all interested, and I would like to blacken them. I want to do this in a way that I won't affect the rest of the deer and elk of Skyrim.
-
Well, here's the problem. I've been trying to find a deer mount for quite some time now, but to no avail. I've tried the "Like a Boss" and "Monster Mounts" mods, but they do not contain the deer I'm looking for. It cannot be that difficult to make a deer (not elk, young elk, or white stag) mount, can it? Anyway, since I haven't found anyone who is willing to make one for me, I've decided that I should try and attempt it myself. Can anyone help me with making a mount, or even direct me to someone who'll make it for me? I also wish to re-texture the said deer once I've made it into a mount.

After many issues with mods, I've decided I want to start Skyrim again as if I've never played it before. I'm not sure about Steam achievements, but I want everything gone. Including my save files. Can anyone advise me on the safest way to do this?
-
Right, here goes. I started a new character without (stupidly) disabling all my mods, and I've had so many issues since I want to explode. Anyway, I got this strange "texture" a while back into the game, but it was more of a glowing effect around a cloak. I did a bit of research, and found it was the "Wet and Cold" mod causing the problem. It worked perfectly fine after disabling it, but now I've got it again. It's not "Wet and Cold" though, it's "Frostfall". I get these white lines around my characters features, but in particular, hands and tail. When I disable that, the effects disappear, but I don't want to get rid of it. I'm sure it's something to do with the dripping effect. http://oi39.tinypic.com/wu5au0.jpg Image above, I can provide more. But in the meantime, any ideas?

How do I uninstall this mod without Skyrim crashing?
Zarago replied to Zarago's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Well, hell. I've only got this problem since I created a new character. What are the dangers? And if I download BOSS, what then? -
Tolfdir and Brelyna Maryon are waiting by the door to Saarthal but the other students (the Khajiit and the Nord) are still standing in the Hall of Elements back at the college. I can start without them, but I'd rather not. Any way to teleport them?

I'm trying to access the College of Winterhold in order to find out more about the Elder Scrolls, but since I do not posses enough Magicka to demostrate the spells she wants, I want to shout instead. However, when I try to, nothing happens. She doesn't react at all. I've tried shouting into the sky, past her, on the seal, and even at her. Absolutely nothing. Can anyone help?
