Agreed. If Capcom are going to throw around the "open world" term they should at least apply it to the whole game world.

I would also like a mod that does this. One of my only problems with this game was that 90% of it takes place in broad daylight. I mean, this is Resident Evil... I can't imagine this would be particularly difficult to do because there's already a "night time" sky and lighting already in the game. If I knew anything about modding I would attempt it myself.
