  1. 1.If I have hearthfire active when I buy Honeymoon? ( House in Riften ) I can't buy the enchanting table , I click to buy , it removes 1000 gold , yet the room only has cob webs , hay stack , and an old book shelf , If I remove the mod , then buy , it's there , save , reload mod , it's there also but now the cob webs , hay stack , and old book shelf are back as well.Anyone know a fix for this so I can keep hearthfire active and still have the house the way I want it? 2.I was having a ton of problems with my game freezing and getting ''Microsoft Visual C++'' that's all I could see no code or error message.Only way out is ctrl alt dlt at which point the msg just dissappears.I spent what felt like forever reading through forums and trying different things to fix the issue with no luck.I got fed up and uninstalled every version of ''Microsoft Visual'' I could find , even though all I kept hearing is that without them programs are likely not to run at all period.I uninstalled anyways and rebooted , then tried to launch skyrim , I figured the game wouldn't work however atleast I wouldn't have to see that damn stupid ''Microsoft Visual C++'' Nightmare message. To my surprise the game fired right up , not only that but I got to play for 3 straight hours without one lock up , crash , or hiccup.Considering before I uninstalled I'd get a max of 10-15 mins before a freeze , getting to play for a stretch like that was great. In fact since I've uninstalled I haven't had 1 crash or freeze and have had 2-3 stretches of playing 2 hours or more non stop , however everyone seems to think these programs are important and very needed. What's the deal , I have no Microsoft Visual on my computer at all to my knowledge , uninstalled 8-9 different versions from my program list.I haven't ran into one problem yet , what were those programs for ? Are they maybe somehow still installed on my computer?
  2. Started having the same issue , tried everything suggested.Read through 20+ forums. Finally after hours upon hours of wasted effort in fixing this issue I got fed up.I decided to try something that had not been suggested....I deleted/removed/uninstalled every single Microsoft Visual C++ file I could find despite lots saying I shouldn't.From what others were saying I expected Skyrim to not even launch once I removed them.To my suprise it did launch , not only did it launch , but it ran perfectly fine for about 3 hours straight ( Normally crash every 10 mins or so ).So to me , the real question becomes , Does Skyrim even need Microsoft Visual C to run?If it does how the hell is my game still working? If it doesn't , then why the hell does Skryim keep crashing over a program it's not even using?
