  1. In BG 1 and 2 the character portraits were on the right side of the screen, not the left. It would be great if a simple mod could make the current UI more similar to the BG2 UI. Perhaps something like this exists but all the UI mods I saw didn't reposition the character portraits.
  2. Just started modding this game. I am confused as to compatibility. Ultimately what I am looking for is Tifas default outfit, without the undershirt or suspenders with larger chest with physics. In addition to that if possible, alternative/nude costumes to replace the purple dress, but not the default outfit. Is this possible? Can any of the above mods be used in combination to enhance the default outfit? Is there a mod that allows you to change to purple dress at will? Can I use nude costumes for the purple dress costume, while still keeping her default costume with the above mods? Thanks again in advance. Plan on doing similar for Aerith.

  4. Grass fades in from farther away from me on the edges of my fov and curves inward, so its not as far out in the middle of my screen. Rotating the camera causes the grass to fade in and then dissapear from view like a wave because the distance is reduced towards the middle of my screen. I see an occasional individual grass pop here and there while im walking around, but nothing like all the grass vanishing on the edges of the screen only when looking around. If I ran in a straight line without moving the camera I wouldn't see it. Installed FOV mod, changing it doesnt eliminate the problem itself, but it makes it far much less noticeable when the grass disappears and reduces how often it does disappear..
  5. Changing the default FOV in the ini to 90 greatly reduced the pop ins but messes up all the menus.. ugh. Oblivion reloaded also changes fov yet setting it to 90 doesnt yield the same results. Changing it to match the ini's default 75 also does not improve the issue.
  6. Had this issue. Make sure that bUseHardDriveCache is set to 1 in the ini. This fixed it for me.
  7. Could you post your load order? Do you happen to run OBGE or Oblivion Reloaded?

  9. Nvidia GPU What's frustrating is that I had this problem once before and somehow I fixed it during my earlier stages of modding before I started a playthough. Played for like 20 hours not noticing a thing out of place.. Oblivion reloaded updated so I installed that, and maybe one or two other smaller mods and bam it became insanely noticeable in an instant and for the life of me I cant figure out what triggered it. I disabled most of my mods, created a new ini, i have literally 5 or 6 different backups of my oblivion folder at certain stages of my modding, and trying to go back to them doesn't fix the problem. New ini doesnt fix the problem. I have tried everything i can possibly think of and absolutely nothing works and it wasn't doing this before. I just wish i knew wtf I did the first time this happened. tried loading defaults in Nvidia control panel, as well as various other settings in there. Tried running in window mode with a fake full screen app thing.. didnt work either. I just have no idea.

I have literally seen this question asked numerous times over the internet, some with videos on youtube showcasing the very same exact problem I have and in every single f*#@ing instance.. NOTHING. I swear i always run into problems that a whole 3 other people on the face of the planet have, and no one answers their questions either so why the f*#@ would i get any sort of response? OFC

  12. So this is my first time posting in these forums and i hope I can get some helpful feedback. The grass in my game is rendering very strangely. I am running quite a few mods so I will post my load order below. I never noticed the issue before, having played for 20 or so hours which leads me to believe a recent mod is causing it, though disabling many of them yielded no results. I first noticed the issue after reapplying the DOF shader in Oblivion Reloaded. Not sure if that's actually the cause, as disabling it doesn't fix it. I feel like a setting in my ini is off somewhere, and I'm running out of things to try. large sections of grass are not rendered on the edges of my screen for the first second when facing different directions, then pops into place suddenly, and its very noticeable. Here are some screenshots: No grass rendered on edge of screen. Disabled all shaders and post processing from Oblivion Reloaded Tried the dissapearing grass fix esp tried Enhanced Grass even tried installing Oblivion grass overhaul which installed just fine, but the problem persists. Tried regenerating LOD tried tweaking, disabling/enabling various settiings in nvidia control panel. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  14. Yes, it still comes with the support plugin. As I stated, I figured out how to use the mod with no issues, i can load and disable shaders with no problems, its just that, even with all shaders disabled, the graphic extender itself, regardless of what it is doing to my game (in this case, nothing, since every single option is disabled) it still cuts my framrate in half, so I can only assume that just by having it installed, without actually turning on ANYTHING that it does, it cuts my framerate by half. I have tried with and without the support plugin, and with and without editing the shader list directly, the outcome is the same either way. With no shaders active, it still gives me a performance hit. It doesn't matter now, I found something MUCH better, and since finding this, I've moved on to installing many other mods and everything is going smoothly. http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/41949 I would recommend this to anyone who wants to very simply, extend their graphics without enabling and disabling shaders, configuring shader settings, ect ect, to use this simple exe. This is exactly the kind of thing that should be made more aware to more casual modders, its simple, easy, and works wonders for the graphics.
  15. I installed obge 3 and obge standalone affects using bash. I have activated no shaders, and have left all settings default. I am getting my fps reduced by 15-25 frames even though absolutely no shaders are active. I figured out how the use them well enough, but, like I said, just by simply installing them, leaving all settings at default, and not adding a single shader, i have lost half my fps. Is there something I can do to get my vanilla oblivion fps back, since, at the moment, these are doing nothing to my graphics, yet cutting my fps in half.
