  1. http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/17984/? If you want to include this type of follower, this mod might be of assistance. If you can get the follower to periodically cast the small 1-cell harvest spell, he would actually only pick up ingredients close by.
  2. Hey Vyper, thanks for your suggestion. Although it seems pretty obvious, this simple trick just didn't really come to mind. I changed it to an Apprentice level Soul Trap and I am pretty happy with it now. Thanks!
  3. What about a Herbalist follower? His inventory should restock ingredients (except man-made stuff like bread and sweetrolls, monster trophies like horns and teeth and so on) over time, just as if he is collecting them "on the run" while following you. He should be able to cast basic cure disease/cure poison/minor heal spells, but focus on collecting ingredients. Some basic potions as well, but no fancy stuff. I don't think it is possible to have him harvest the plants you pass by though.
  4. Hey guys, I know I'm nitpicking here, I really do. I have Supreme Magicka installed and use a Spell Delete mod. When playing a Mage or Hybrid class, I always value a well organized spell menu. I like to play themed characters, for example an Assassin that uses Shortswords, Ghost-summons and Poison/Cold spells. I like it when you take a look at your spell menu and the icons just fit in nicely. I don't know if it is Supreme Magicka or OOO, but one of these mods managed to remove the Minor Heal spell permanently from my spellbook, which is awesome. The red heart just didn't fit the ghost and poison icons. Whenever I buy unrelated restoration/alteration spells for enchanting purposes, I use the Spell Delete mod to remove them after I'm done. It works with every spell, but one. Flare. It just keeps coming back no matter what I do, and I don't want to remove it from the game via Construction Kit, because I fear it might cause unforeseeable problems. In the tutorial dungeon, Flare is not in my spellbook, but it appears after exiting the sewers and just keeps on coming back again and again. Is there anything I can do in the Construction Set to ensure that Flare stops reappearing in my spellbook ( I already removed the Starting Spell check)? It might appear stupid to you guys, but it really annoys me to no end. Do you have any suggestions for me? Thanks!
  5. Thank you for your tips! Unfortunately, the suggestions did not really help to solve my problem, so I opted for a reinstallation. After unistalling the game, I cleared the registry with CCleaner and deleted the original Oblivion folder. After that, I installed the game to a new directory C:/Games/Oblivion. I also installed Shivering Isles and downloaded the official Shivering Isles Patch. I wanted to do a test run, but the game crashes now midway through the intro (with the Bethesda logo). I thought that installing the translated UOP & USIP might be of help, but that didn't do it either. Just to be super safe, I took a look at the load order but that was no problem either. What could possibly have gone wrong with my reinstall? EDIT: Nevermind, I missed the Oblivion.ini file -.- The game did not run properly because it was expecting Darnified UI resources.
  6. Hey guys, just reinstalled Oblivion (first playthrough in Vilverin currently) and after installing a couple of mods via NMM and OMM, my installation is already in a pretty bad shape. So I got Streamline 3.1 after my game started to crash every 30 minutes or so. With Streamline 3.1+patch installed, it crashes in 30 seconds. (Currently in the first Ayleid dungeon across the sewers) I did not even alter the sl.ini that much, I just changed the interval that streamsave is performed. I have the Crash Prevention System for OBSE installed, but no perfomance-enhancing mods. Running on Windows 8, x64, 8GB Ram, Intel i7. Load order looks a bit weird to me, but I did run BOSS with it. I deactivated the Streamline.esp to atleast enjoy 30 minutes of gameplay, but it crashes even faster now. EDIT: Now I have around 10 playable seconds before CTD occurs (when closing in on a skeleton archer), whether I have streamline.esp active or not. Looks my installation is pretty much finished
