I cant even get the game to start with any mods even loaded, My God this is so annoying. Game crashes the first 2 secs it starts. Mcaffe and windows firewall are not blocking. I tried running as administrator and no luck. Crashes in two second. After probably 20 hours of trouble shooting and having to restart this process again, wow. I shouldnt even play this game anymore. I already beat it on xbox, why do another playthrough? Even with all the mods it's still the same thing. I havnt played new vegas though, I think Ill move on to that. I give up, deleting fallout 3 from my computer to prevent myself from wasting more time, I think I had almost 200 hours on my xbox playthrough so you know what yeah screw this im done i hope new vegas is not a hasle

Hello, for some reason I could not launch Fallout 3 and I would get an error if I tried to start it. So I decide to uninstall Steam and the Nexus Mod Manger, (NMM was messing up also) so I thought by simply redownloading the programs I could resume without problem. I was wrong. By uninstalling steam I deleted fallout 3. Fortunately my saves are still there, but I cant find my mods. I redownloaded NMM and it has all my mods listed and activated, but no plug ins. I cant find the mod files on my computer, and if I did I still dont know what to do from there. Help please!

Hello, for some reason I could not launch Fallout 3 and I would get an error if I tried to start it. So I decide to delete Fallout 3 and the Nexus Mod Manger, (NMM was messing up also) so I thought by simply redownloading the programs I could resume without problem. I was wrong. The mods I downloaded are still there, as well as my saves. But the mods I downloaded are located in a new folder, as Winrar files, not regular. So now I am confused, do I extract all the files to my fallout 3 folder? How do I get things running again?

Running as an administrator does not work and if I uninstall the game dont I lose my mods and or game progress?

I also get an error that says access denied. I checked to make sure mcaffe wasnt blocking and its not so idk what to do

I dont know what to do. I tried alot of things. ALso I can not zoom in right with the chinese assault rifle or regular assualt rifle or sniper rifles. Ughh I reallyu just want to play in peace and enjoy the game

Well I went into my INi file and changed everything correctly and I'm still gettting crashes. Less often though. I don't get how to use the BLackend patches

Please help I really want to play this without problems.

I did that already, and I still have problems :(

Before you say anything, I already did the bluethreader=2 thing or whatever and set that on 2. I also used Fallout 3 edit to create a merged patch. Perhaps it is my load order? I am maybe missing a compatibility patch? It freezes randomly every 10-20 minutes, I turned off auto saving also. I don't know how to post my load order :( Any tips?

Hello, I am having trouble loading previous saved games, I can load fine from the main menu, but not any other save. I even tried creating a new save file to see if I could load that, and what happens is while I am loading, the mouse will freeze but the load screen will not. The load screen dial at the bottom will keep spinning and it will keep switching to load screen pictures. It will even give me new random descriptions, but it continues forever. So I am stuck just sitting there waiting for my save game to load. I am tried reloading multiple saves, and the same thing happens each time. I am running lots of mods and I already created a merge patch w/ fallout 3 edit. Any ideas?
