yes indeed, yes, indeed i'm not particularly upset in fact i'm rather jovial about it but i'd still be interested in finding out what happend haha, any explanations? i've got the right attitude about it though, it was a mistake in the learning process, and a firsthand mistake at that! that's extra experience right there, plus it was just the Vanilla game non modded, i could more than likely simply uninstall/reinstall Oblivion to get that back, i still have the important modded save that we've spent so much time and effort on, so no harm no foul! i'm still going to make that *second* MOM and mod that with the COBL and see how it goes that hour seems to be up so more than likely, i'll see you (Sunday?)! i'll keep updating this one post here with updates and edits in response to below that didn't show up until i refreshed, Bongo is still there, and all my other characters, but MOM's Vanilla game image that i had just, poofed, i was able to import my active image just fine

So i definitely think BOSS was the way to go and i didn't even know it, we just ended up on the other side of that through working with other things haha might as well try copy/pasting the COBL into that third MOM ok, edit, there's an issue, MOM lost my Oblivion images, i know where they are, i'm just not sure how to get them BACK in there without having to create new another edit shortly after, i have an idea and i'm gonna see if it works or not, can't rely on outside help ALL the time, just gonna dive in Yet another edit: the uhh...mm. Well, the uhh, Vanilla Game MOM file seems to have, er, disappeared. i tried importing it but then it just sorta said there was an error and POOF what do you know it vanished haha

So in other words it should be ok to go ahead and start copy/pasting without worrying about messing something up majorly? i'm thinking i could create a third MOM to test it out with and if things go down the drain i can just swap back no mess no fuss and try again, also, i think BOSS might have shuffled some things around because suddenly my khajiits got a facelift out of nowhere, it went from this to this and i'm intrigued, i liked the ones before but this is also new and interesting so i have no complaints, though miss Bango Bongo also got a "facelift" and i use that term loosely because she still looks like a deflated mouse just a watery tart lost in a world of adventure and extra large headgear plus a small showcase of the map mod i installed like an hour ago that i really like

I appreciate the forewarning, and hey i'm a very patient person, i have more than enough for weeks and weeks of entertainment, take all the time you need i'm not going to try to somehow force someone over the internet to spend their time on me haha Hmm, i would hope it isn't required as opposed to optional, that might wrench the easy-going plan of manually copy/pasting

Actually i think it tells me in the readme what files to move for a manual install and where to put them "For a install of Cobl either manually or with another mod manager (Not Recommended), copy files from each of these sub-directories to your Oblivion\Data directory. You'll need to install files from 00 Cobl Core, then from 01 StableCore or 01 DevCore, but files from the other directories are optional." so i think i need to open those and copy/paste everything in them to the data folder, now, i say "i think" even though it might be obvious because sometimes these things sorta, muddle my brain a little having that bit from the readme pasted here will help me remember what files i need as well so it's a double purpose

Hmm, interesting, should i try the omod or just pick and choose as a manual also i'm glad i had the foresight to create this folder to store all these in and organize

Is it difficult to install manually? asking this as i hit download

Nifty, it feels good So i'm looking into COBL which will add a Luggage, Grinder, and Alchemical Sorter to the Pocket Dimension but i'm not sure how to approach it really, and it adds races and some things that i'm not sure if they're optional, but i'm thinking could conflict with the good thing i have going right now with Oblivion as to the faces/bodies so i'm nervous

Ok so wait the Pocket Dimension (i love by the way it's actually really handy and cool) is a bsa so would i put the file name as .bsa on the master list suggestion or should i look for a specific esp?

well, everything seems to be going a-ok, i played for a few minutes and everything is just peachy the unrecognized ones aren't important to be any higher, and everything runs smooth, even the loading screens are back to how they were pre-modding

seems to be alright, dunno if "unrecognized - 2" is an issue

I rather like how things turned out and i think i'm a little thin from the work i've done already, however i do appreciate the input i'm pretty satisfied overall, this is the Oblivion i'm content with i think my next course of action is installing that player house i saw that looked really neat

It was a complete journey, there were feelings, there were mountains climbed, there were bridges crossed, and here i am at my new Oblivion, and i learned so much that i can use from this point onwards, it's been a cool trip

Actually i've spent a little time just now wandering around Cyrodiil and i think everything has its own charm, i kinda like these Khajiits Simplicia is just always in the right place at the wrong time poor thing i think this is it! i think this is the end of my current journey and i'm very happy with how things are and i couldn't say thank you enough for stickin this out to help me, nevertheless i'll probably be seen again asking for help but i think i've finally hit the final product, i'm ecstatic

ok! it actually looks like everything is working, and with the deletion of the steam backup folder i created and didn't end up needing that took up a little over 1/3 of my available memory space, Oblivion is running smoother after it worked out the kinks with the latest installs. my test character that i made last night seems to have the new body mesh Simplicia The Slow, my go-to character for body mesh differences and facial textures is looking sprightly And i walked up to a random NPC just to make sure and she definitely has a much more pleasing face I think everything worked out in the end! i'm more than happy with the results

Ah ok interesting this is a small post so i'll make more use of space by updating this with new progress update, i think it went well i think all i need to do is start Oblivion again and see what happens

it asked if i wanted to install the body textures and i said no, picked C-underwear, but it's asking me if i want optional dermal exposure meshes and i have NO idea what that is
