I could not find the Fallout 3 Ram Boost mod, which completely fixed my CTD problems. I am running 80+mods (including FOOK, FOIP, FWE, WMK etc) and i was having constant (5 minute or less) CTD's, installing all the mods carefully, and in the order they are meant to be installed. After running the Ram Boost mod i downloaded from another site (sorry Nexus, i cheated on you), no more CTDs at all! I just wanted to post this here to help others who may be experiencing the same problem.

Ive enjoyed it so far, but some of the references have been a little too obscure for even me. Its funny anyways. Anyone find the Blind Deathclaw? I did.

Very imaginative! I have not thought it out, but an area that is completely crowded, like China for instance, would be interesting. Or Japan? The idea of a Samurai - Wastelander or something along those lines would be cool!

You know what, i have to agree with you. Having played hours of Oblivion, i had sooo many laughs because of strange NPCs or situations. I did not have as many laughs at Fallout 3, although definitely strange areas. NV even less so on both categories.

For my game, i wanted to just be a murderous jerk, and whatever ending i got, i would have been happy. I was about level 12 and Very evil, and only KOS by the Powder Gangers. I have shifted my view now. I have rebuilt my reputation iwth the Powder Gangers to neutral now, and most other factions Accept or like me. Its awesome! Its awesome, cause i kill one person everywhere I go, just using a disguise! I have since gone to Very Good, which is even funnier overall. I love the Fallout series! Good work!

Cool, thanks for the info! I hope it works. I was thinking of Carrying some faction armors with me, especially the light weight ones. I think if i wear it when im robbing an opposing faction, the karma loss does not affect their reputation with me right?

I have decided on no longer killing every Powder Ganger i meet, since i am vilified and I am now trying to gain some good Karma with them, is this possible? If it is, is it simply just killing factions they hate that will repair my vilified faction?

Love the crafting system, except for the Reloading. I think its bugged,as i have 24,000+ pieces of lead, i should be struggling to balance it against the ammo i go through right? Its weightless, and using it to make other rounds, seems to produce more? I dont know, it seems a little weird.

Thanks for the tip! I hope they release a patch for this and MANY other bugs, that the last patch introduced. Especially the reload/ no Pipboy bug. I have finally figured it out though, if i try and shoot and enter the Pipboy i can enter the pipboy. Otherwise, im stuck, and cannot use the iron sights.

So i cannot ever take them into enclosed areas? I loaded a Quicksave and left him outside Thorn for the time being. Thanks for the advice!

I finally discovered Thorn now (126 hours in, only 4 of those spent on first build), and i entered Thorn with ED-E and then the music flares up and he begins blasting away?? I am only Villified by the Powder Gangers, NCR Accepts me, Goodsprings Likes me, not sure about the Fiends (i kill them onsight, everytime, probably not Liked by them), but why would ED-E attack Thorn residents on-sight? If its a spoiler, dont tell me, just say, you will see why.

Nice info. I have been keeping my stuff in the dumpsters next to the store in Good Springs. Will be nice to have a home of my own at some point. An alternative to keeping your stuff in the dumpsters, is the Gas Station in Good Springs as well. That one comes with a bed too.

Ok, maybe i do not know the rules, but at present, i can only, use up all my cards until they are gone, and that only leaves me with the choice to forfeit. WTF! I need a better rule book for this game.

Hahah, love the One Death Rule, that sounds very interesting! I have not found the game overly difficult on Hard/Hardcore. Just the opposite. Its rather easy, but i am only level 4 right now, soooo i will let you guys know. I am used to playing FO3 with FWE, and many other realism type mods, soooo maybe im used to a harder game?

Maybe they wanted this game more serious, but the sense of humor in Fallout 3 is absolutely there, and here its missing. Yea, 7 out of 10 is about right, and your observation is spot on. Its not a new game, per se, its a new Mega-Expansion.

Good question, but yea, a Mod is a mod. Im looking forward to the modding community fixing many of the broken elements of this game, as they always do. I fear the day modders do not...

I took this one too. O well. I am seriously controlling my urge to min/max the stats in this first time around in the game. I am playing it on Hard/Hardcore, and i was expecting it to be difficult, but its not at all. Might crank it to Very Hard.

Ok, so i went to Best Buy, picked up my game, raced home, installed. I preordered through Best Buy (who wouldnt want a Grenade Launcher and some Doctor Bags), and i was sooooooo excited about installing, i used the code in the game DVD case, NOT the special code an insert that was provided in the game, which would have allowed me to get the Mercenary pack. Am i fooked? STEAM I hate and love you. Help!

Thanks for the tip. I have found a couple of lists of stuff people run, and i think you are right. I made a short list myself of mods i intend to play around with.

looks like no such list exists. I will list the mods i use, and any notes i find. Maybe others can list the mods they use with all DLC enabled and help someone down the line.

I love Fallout 3, and I am considering reinstalling it and playing all the DLC content. My only problem is that some parts of the game, i feel, need a mod. I was wondering if anyone has compiled a list of mods that are 100% compatible with all the DLC for this game? Thanks in advance.
