in the inis its used to be a . not a , give the wohle a try or let it be. its on you. i have a fx6300 @ 4,8ghz, 8 gb ram, 7870 xt @1200,1600 if ur rig is at least a Q9900 with some 1gb hd 5000 or gtx 400 series ist sholud be fine. 5500.000 are the same as 5500 without .000 :wink: backup ur old inis if u want to be on the sure side -

ok i give u detailed suggestion go to your skyrim launcher and set the graphic settings as u like or as u pefer it to play mostly fluid.. i dont know why you wont test my inis .. i had the exact same problem at riverwood. i use the HD 2k texture + many many mods ... graphic mods lod mods, sound mods, meshes mods, distance overhaul etc... and so on. you wont regret if you use them, configure the graphic part to your needs and let the distance part how it is. as i said, you hardly wont see a difference between a ultra config and this one. its the f***ing skyrim engine thats blowing ! this engine is not set for a modded and especially graphically moddet skyrim. for textures that are more demanding than the vanilla or the original HD texture pack textures. if you dont hit a certain ratio between loading textures in advance and quality in distance and distancemultisplit it will crash. i testet all this for 3 month now and this inis are my result. i dont get a ctd now at riverwood and around anymore indifferent if i travel from whiterum to falkenrath or the other way round.... the area around lakeview manor, all thre were ctds. they happened aperently random and at some exact same spots but it was alwys engine related which couldnt handle the high textures at this level of distance and ... you know waht i mean. -

thaks for searching rhe same one :biggrin: but i found out whats relating to this error. its when i compress the HD texture bsa of the original hd texture pack with the texture optimizer. i disabeld all mods and add ons and there it was a surfboard free game :smile: ill test now if a non optimized bsa of the hd texture pack and all mods aktivated will kill this surfboard. I am using the ripple fix but only to disable this one doesnt work for me. ohh i tested the wohle again and... you were right its the riple fix thing that causes the glitch! thanks for help! there should be some thak you button for each user on this board.. ;) -

its not about grafics problem its about ctd ;) therefore go with my inis and have fun without ctd at some certain spot. you wont hardly notice a grafic decrease eather.... it increses your fps and reduces lags and avoids ctds... perhaps you could personalise the grafic parameters like aa or af ... and some shadow things but leave the rest like it is. -

these settings are worse for him .. therefore he should tweak them to his needs whats the problem ? if he just coopied the distance lod part unter terrain manager ? the rest is not that cpu demanding... grafic based paramenters are to be tweaked. i am repeating... -

hello, i want to show you a strange bug that happens absolutely random in outside an inside situations. its always unter my charakter and its moving with the camera. when the bug is there and i enter a house or fast travel its not always gone, but sometimes its gone (absolutely random). i tried several drivers since 13.2 for my 7870 xt and with and without radeon pro.... with grafical mods and without all mods that concern the grafic. it was just there some day and its not ini related... i tried all settings except all shadows off. playerselfsadowing in the ini is also not the solution. so what can that be ?! here is a pic http://abload.de/thumb/tesv.exe_2013-06-20-1myuqc.png skyrim 1.9.32 ... unofficial patches ... and so on
