Hey guys, I just started using Creation Kit last night and I couldn't see a preview of the character I'm creating, the window is blank, do you know what could be the problem?

Hey guys, I'd like to know how can I disable the enemy's markers on the compass? I've seen a few mods but they all seem to remove everything or nothing from the compass. Maybe there's a command line? or a mod I didn't see? ;)

Downloading with NMM has become almost impossible, their servers are either busy or unavailable, it's ridiculous.

Same for me, I'm connected here but I can't log in NMM, they say the password is incorrect, but it is correct. Great to know there's an offline mode when the online one doesn't work anymore :/

Hello, I have 2 mods in red on my list, but not written in red, they have a bold red line over both, I thought it would be two conflicting mods, but then I deactivated one of them and both only changed from dark red to lighter red, why is that? Also I have 5 .esm files on top, and the fifth one always becomes red no matter what it is, I even moved down skyrim.esm to the fifth place and it became red lol, is it a wrye bash bug? what is it? is it a major problem if I start my new game that way? CTD waiting to happen right?

Now that I think about it, I installed dotnetfx35 (which degraded from version 4.0 I believe..) and another program for Fifa 12, could it be a problem? Also I will run my program for malwares and viruses, it's been a while since I did it, it might find something. Thanks bben!

I don't see what's low about my rig, I'm very well in the system recommended requirements if not over at some point, I've always played on High and with some settings on very high, like I said it was not stuttering when I started to play Skyrim back in November and January either when I installed my first ENB which looked amazing. Now even when I play my new game after 5-10 minutes it's stuttering, not much but enough to not be having fun and quit the game. I tried the Skyrim configurator (by the way it's very nice) and lowered my settings to medium even cut off half of draw distances and it's still stuttering, I feel like just uninstall and have a fresh new start at zero, sadly. :confused:

No unfortunately I disabled auto-saving a long time ago. :(

Ok, so my new game is running way better with game booster, thanks for that! :thumbsup: About my 120 hours character... I finally loaded a save game 70 hours in, so waaaay back, and it's running fine, so my conclusion is: it would be a bloated savegame (at 13mb?) or an outdated mod maybe, am I right? I'm out of ideas really.

Ok I will try to disable them both and see (afraid it will screw up my game anyway though) Thanks for the gamebooster, I will download it, it might comes in handy. :thumbsup: I'll be back later and hopefully I will have good news hehe

That's a negative, I even changed my AA settings to performance instead of quality like it used to be (yeah it sucks) and even doing so it didn't make any difference in-game. EDIT: I was thinking, any of you guys have Warzones and Occupy Skyrim? maybe with these 2 mods I have too many spawnings and battles going on in the background?

No I didn't change anything in my .ini files lately, I only changed a few options in my Nvidia Control Panel nothing more. And supposedly I wouldn't have updated a mod (since I have around 50 mods installed), shouldn't it just CTD instead of lagging?

Well I loaded 2 earlier saves with the same character and it's unplayable as well :confused: wth? , so I started a new game and it's stuttering but more playable, how come my save game and actually my game started to lag like that out of nowhere? Can it be mods related? I also thought about saves corruption but since I loaded a way earlier savegame (at 90 hours, it makes 30 hours earlier) and it was the same, major stuttering upon starting... corrupted save wouldn't be right at this point.

So here's my situation... yesterday I was playing my Nord character of over 120 hours with no lags, a few stutters after some time like always but was playable, today I start the same save game and it's unplayable, major stutterings, I saved in breezehome yesterday, I'm not even in the outside world. I didn't install new mods yesterday nor today, it started suddenly, anyone has a solution to my problem? my save game is only 13 mb so I don't think it's about bloating. :unsure:

Your mod seems great, I was looking for something like that, now the seas might be a more dangerous/interesting place for us to just swim around like it should be, but don't overdo it man, keep it more lore-friendly please, I wouldn't like 50 feet monsters swimming around in every rivers and seas, and I think that goes for everyone looking for a more "realistic" gameplay. Keep it up! :thumbsup:

Ok, so since I installed Wars in Skyrim (if I remember well) I have Elite Guards in Riverwood and some other towns, I started my game today and the Elite Guards in Riverwood started shooting arrows at me for no reason (no bounty) and then started to fight everyone in town, the weird issue is that I disabled WiS a long time ago, but everything was fine until today, so I don't know if there's another mod using these guards, I have Warzones and Immersive Patrols installed that could affect these, by the way they're killing important NPCs everytime I try to reach Riverwood so it's kind of a major issue. :laugh:

I added a mod today called Armed to the Teeth with JSwords patch (which is red in Wrye Bash and have no idea why, the main files are in data) and now when I start BOSS all I see is a big red rectangle and it says "Game is not detected" What the hell is going on? it started doing it all of a sudden, yesterday everything was fine. :confused:

You do have a point, the problem is, while beth cant do a game that would please everyone, they do try to cater to a wide audience as much as possible and that is also the problem why their games are being more and more simple with each release and why people ask them selfs, whats wrong. Everytime someone asks why is the game getting so dumbed down, someone answers with "they cant please everyone", yet they are forgetting that its actually this fact that they try to cater to a wider audience thats dumbing the game down. Also i find it a bit too much to acuse people from having pirate versions of the game just because they have problems, a large part of these problems is caused by the fact that many of them are new to the series and lack the knowledge how to properly install and troubleshoot the mods. Also skyrim workshop isnt helping this either, people just download and install mods without knowing they could conflict with eachother and then they come running to nexus, with threads "my game isnt working HALP". Ugh! This was a thread about why Skryim is becoming boring. Now it's a thread about people who pirate the software and then have the gall to complain about bugs... Silly. Let's get back to the point in question. IMO Oblivion had better story lines. This is typical. Think about a tv show that you like. The first season is always best because the writing is fresh. After a while, it jumps the shark - to use a hackneyed phrase. Skyrim is season three. Oblivion was season one and two. Morrowind was the throw-away pilot episode that was critically ripped to shreads but now everyone looks back at nostalgically (crossref: Star Trek, pilot, Cmdr Pike). I'm closing in on 450 hours and haven't completely any quest line except for the ultra lame MG. The only noteworthy character is Lydia - and that's only because my kid's walk around moaning: "I'm sworn to carry your burdens". I do miss those Oblivion Gates, goblins and the Adoring Fan. Well, maybe not the AF. So what you're saying is Arena had the best story of them all? lol just kidding I know what you're trying to say here, but Skyrim's storyline was quite similar to Oblivion's, good but without depth, I don't see why Skyrim would be worse. I don't want to be the bad guy here but I'm on a 220 hours game with my Nord and I'm not bored at all, especially (and thanks to modders) with mods, it makes the game very interesting and not boring at all, it's an RPG, you have to get in your character like if it was you and the world itself and the surroundings, get in the adventure, but most people don't, they just want to finish the storyline/game like if it was an action game, and after complain about the little details Bethesda missed out, play the darn game first as it's supposed to be played. Don't get me wrong I loved Oblivion so much man, but Skyrim is close to be as good as Oblivion now and will be better every week and will eventually be amazing, I tell you. :wink:

from the OP, the above point stood out to me the most Same here, and everything else in the OP's post is pretty pointless or non-sense (especially with the graphics part being crap... whaaaat?) But the lack of buildings is indeed VERY lacking, you can't expect big cities to be like villages, cities are not villages and villages in Skyrim look like... microtowns or all fishing villages or something, this is something that marked me the first time I played Skyrim, I visited 2 "big" cities the first day and I wasn't impressed at all, so on the second day I thought to myself, dang Dawnstar and Solitude must be huge let's walk up there... to my disappointment they were even smaller or not much bigger, but it doesn't make Skyrim a bad game, I'm still on my 220 hours character and still loving the hell out of this game ! :thumbsup:

You know some of us don't like staring at bandit dick every time we loot a body, and it's kinda pointless just to add nudity so people can obsess over underwear mods for four months instead. lol exactly, and there are enough pointless and (sorry but true) stupid nudity/sexy mods already out there, Bethesda's team doesn't need to waste time about it...

I also think these mods are ridiculous (no offense), first they're not at all lore-friendly to Skyrim and second most don't even fit in the environment at all, they look like they're out of an asian porn magazine or porn movie. To ignorant people saying "then you don't like girls"... sorry I have a real girlfriend in real life, I don't need to fantasise on a plastic-looking girl in a videogame, especially in Skyrim, women in Skyrim are fine and don't need to be Barbies, they wouldn't anyway. People making these mods are quite... well... strange if I may say so, with all the ideas out there they choose to make porn girls with D cup? lol that's just weird. :dry:
