  1. Hi, I want to make a new city in my mod, where players can travel with a ship. Basically, it will be a new worldspace, separated from the world of Skyrim. I know that there is some kind of an outpost in Skyrim world, where you have to kill some pirates at the base, and you can't get out of there until you compete the quest (even with using cheats), Can't remember the name though. So my question is, because I know that the CK is not very good in generating terrain, is it possible for me to place all the tiles by hand, or do I need to generate the landscape with the external program mentioned on CK's wiki? It is a rather large city (Targos from Icewind Dale II, for example). Thanks in advance for any help!
  2. Hi, I am making a companion mod for Skyrim. I have the malehead_msn.dds for a race (Imperial) of my companion, but I want to change a look only for my companion, not for any other NPC in game, it would conflict with other mods which are changing the look of various NPCs. Shall I create my own race based on the Imperial race, and there set my custom dds file? I was trying to do this, but I could not find place for dds location... Thanks in advance for help.
  3. Hi, I have noticed that we don't have many faction mods here on Nexus, so I've decided to make one. The idea is that you will get an option to buy a destroyed fortress of Helgen from jarl of Whiterun (technically, Helgen falls under Whiterun's authority, and it was never meant to be rebuilded in vanilla game). After rebuilding Helgen to it's former state, it would give you a perfect place for base of operations for your new mercenary faction. I have not yet decided how will you get your soldiers, there are many options, but one condition for me is that it must be completely unintrusive and lore friendly. You will be able to use hire your mercenaries for various tasks, mainly to help guarding large cities, which will net you some money, but not too much to ruin the game. Anyway, my biggest problem at the time is in rebuilding Helgen itself. It seems to exist in two states, first is the normal state of Helgen which you see on the beginning, and the second is destroyed Helgen, which remains for whole game then. It seems that it's a scripting issue, because I can't find any map sources for first or second Helgen. There seems to be only one map of Helgen exterior (the undestroyed one), and the latter destroyment of the city is done by scripts. So the question is, how can I repair the Helgen without ruining the game start? Thanks in advance for help.
  4. It is apparently unusual that the mod is being reviewed for such a long time.
  5. I don't know, I have noticed this mod approx. 5 days ago and downloaded it for bug-hunting. And it is 1 day it can't be searched, because I was constantly checking for new version. However, what was before I don't know...
  6. They surely have their reasons for doing it. According to comments, v1.0 has a lots of bugs. Funny thing is, they're reviewing it for about one day now, :woot:
  7. I have two assassins created in GECK. One is Caucasian and he's okay. Second has a Race AfricanAmerican, face generated in GECK show his skin black as it should be, but in game is his skin actually white. He still has AfricanAmerican marks (eg. lips) but his skin is for some unknown reason white. Any help will be appreciated.
  8. This can be proved easily. Go to official Bethesda forums and copy/paste the content of 1st post. If it gets deleted, it's true, if not... well, no need to say anything else.
  9. Yea, there was a good mod for it in Fallout 3, so they weren't attacking you if they saw they had no chance. :wallbash:
  10. It is under review by a moderator, therefore you can't search for it. It's visible only in Top 100 section under Buildings category, but still, you must wait until moderator finish his reviewing.
  11. ya...that would do it... lol...i dont know how many time i travelled to the NCR outpost in hostile armor just to end up being shot to crap. Yep, I found myself entering the Brotherhood Bunker and got slaughtered. Then I've asked myself: what is wrong? After a reload I'm entering for a second time, and got slaughtered again. Then I've finally noticed I'm wearing an NCR armor... :-/
  12. I have a quest-giver in Prospector's Saloon. When a quest is enabled, I want to spawn two hired mercenaries, who will kill the quest-giver and then disappear through the door and nobody will ever see them again. How can I do this? Thanks in advance.
