Skyrim has been perfectly stable until installation of patch 1.5.24.0.5. Now it crashes at (almost) every travel transition, opening doors, fast travel etc. Sometimes it seems the problem can be overcome if the game is manually saved before each door, but I cannot confirm this with certainty. Disabling Save on Travel, Save on Wait or other auto saves makes no difference. Makes no difference if the game is started with the launcher or through Mod Manager. My game has always reported the wrong version of SKSE, although it functions fine. I did upgrade SKSE to vesion 1.04.14 but that doesn't seem to have anything to do with the problem. Very frustrating. Any suggestions gratefully received

I found getting the Travel Light Perk and wearing a Vault Jumpsuit got me through.

I cannot get anywhere near Nellis AFB without being bombarded and killed by the Boomers. I have the guide's note on how to evade the barrage, but I cannot get anywhere near the North West houses - as soon as I pass the cacti on any of the railway lines, the bombardment starts and doesn't stop. I have tried maximum stealth, stealth boy, and sending out a decoy companion but with no success. Is there something I have missed further south? Regor
