  1. I want to add a script to a Cue Ball that makes it do the PCB command when I click on it in my inventory. I have no scripting experience at all and don't know how to do it. I know that I need to make a new script and put it on the item but I just don't know what to type into the script. Help would be great.
  2. I know that's not true because mods such as Immersive Armors are adding new categories like Auxiliary Armors and so on. That's all that I'm looking to do. Make it my own category.
  3. I've been tinkering around in the Creation Kit and making a new armor set. It's just Dragonplate armor with modified properties, nothing fancy. I want to make it it's OWN armor type. What I mean by that is that I want it to appear in the crafting menu as it's own drop-down and I want it to appear in the Creation Kit Object Window/Items/Armor/--and then in it's own section rather than in the Dragonbone section. Any advice?
  4. I've made a bow in the Creation Kit and some arrows to go with it. I want the bow to have a fire damage enchantment but I only want it to work when I have the custom arrows equipped. Does anyone know how to go about doing this? I've tried messing with the conditions for the enchantment but I've had no luck.
  5. When I use the Unarmed skill whether it be with bare fists or a weapon of some sort (Power Fist, Bladed Gauntlet, Brass Knuckles, Spiked Knuckles, etc...) the only attack animation is an uppercut. Every single time I attack using Unarmed weapons it just does an uppercut over and over again. It's the most bizarre bug I've ever seen. I have no idea what's causing it. Has anybody else encountered this? If so, do you know a fix? Oh yeah, my Unarmed skill is 100, if that makes a difference.
  6. Thanks for the response. I've since deleted all of my saves and decided to start clean with less mods and a new save. If and when my saves get to a ridiculous point then I will try this tool and see if it helps.
  7. So, I've been playing Fallout: New Vegas and I've noticed that the longer I play the larger my save files get, obviously. As my save files get larger, loading screens take longer when I load a save or enter a new cell. Once the save files reach a certain size (about 6 megabytes or larger) loading screens become VERY long or result in a CTD. This is very frustrating because I'm not even halfway through the game when my save files reach 6 megabytes and I can't do any of the DLC's or complete the main quest, for that matter. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Maybe a reduction of visual quality or a change in the Fallout.ini document? I play Fallout 3 which doesn't have as much content as New Vegas and is a smaller game but my current save for Fallout 3 is 12 megabytes and I have no issues. I've read that other people have the same issue and that the Fallout: New Vegas saving system is a bit buggy. Any advice would be appreciated.
  8. Is there any way that I can change the directory of my save files? I don't want them saving to "Documents\My Games\Saves". I want it to save to an external storage unit such a USB storage unit or something like that. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  9. There may be a way around that though; considering that the OP mentioned being able to use the console commands, he could just bump the attribute that is being modified down to 9 (if it's already 10) so that way he won't be stuck in a point allocation pop-up. That may or may not work though, I can see a way it wouldn't work.
  10. I made some custom Hellfire armor and added it into a new chest that I placed into the Megaton house. All I did was change the ID, the in-game name, some properties (value, weight, damage resistance and health) and the effects that the armor gives the player (fire resistance, increased carry weight, etc...). When I go into my house, open the chest and then go to click on the item to take it the game crashes to the desktop saying that Fallout 3 has stopped working. I don't know why. I have two mods installed; RH Iron Sights and Darnified User Interface. I use Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) with Fallout Script Extender (FOSE) to start my game. I am completely lost here. I've tried using different armors that are vanilla armors, I've tried deleting the plugin and then starting over and, still, the game crashes. Also, I've used many other mods such as FWE, Fellout and a bunch more with zero problems. I don't understand why a mod as simplistic as mine would cause this kind of issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Edit: I removed one of the effects that I put on the armor and it stopped crashing. The issue must have been with the effect not being designed for wearable things.
