  1. I been thinking about this since I started the books, and saw a mod called Divine Aegis. I immediately made a new character with a few batch files to start off as Jerico, or the main Paladin of Ashhur in the first book. Not sure how many have read this series, but it's amazing. Then I started thinking: The 8 divines could be changed to the three in the book: Celestia - elven god, Karak - god of order, and Ashhur - god of ... well the good one. Celestia was the main god of Tamriel, but then two brother gods (Karak and Ashhur) came and made man. The civil war is easily the war between Karak (Imperials) and Ashhur (Stormcloaks). Their colors even match well enough! You come along as either a Paladin (Warrior/Archer) or a Priest (Mage), and help the god you choose. Think about it -- Alternate starts, a good series of books to help smooth along the story, unique weapons and NPCs (Velixar and Cyric or even Darius and Jerico). And, with enough ambition, an addon to the character creation menu where you pick the god you follow. Elves would default to Celestia, Orcs go to Karak, Khajiits to Ashhur, and Nords, Redguard, Breton to any one, etc. You could even add the Stronghold and Citadel for the religions. TL;DR A mod about this series would be epic if done with enthusiasm, ambition, and a plan. I would do this myself, but I am doing a LP of Skyrim, plus I have no modding knoweldge, plus I cannot stick to plans. Go and make this mod and be EPIC
  2. I for one thought the quest was one of the best in recent Elder Scrolls history. I have a bit more leeway to things like waves instead of actual hordes, mostly because I honestly don't care that Skyrim was written with consoles in mind. The simple fact that I spent a good fifteen minutes on a simple fort guarded by 30-100 people is awesome, regardless of the fact that I couldn't see them all at one time. Furthermore, wouldn't reinforcements have to come in from lower levels? The cities (all two of them =( ) were cool but underplayed a bit compared to forts. I still have yet to do the Imperial questline, simply because I trust a government that I have a direct choice in more than an Emperor 500 miles away. The story wasn't written out as well as it could have been, but I don't care; I spent more time killing than reading. Just wanted to throw a couple lucky pennies in there! Off Topic: I thought it was a great decision to PC port as it is easier for modders to fix the PC version than it is to waste extra time, money, and disappointment making a console port for the game and pushing the deadline. Plus I trust Bethesda a lot; I've loved and will love any game put out by them and their team.
