well is it allowed if the content is owned by same people? because konami owns both mgs4 and mgs5. Eitherway, it would be great if someone made the mod and posted in elsewhere like i mentioned in this post. no. unless it is stated by Konami that it is allowed it is still illegal, and they have not said it is allowed. also suggesting illegal porting can get you in trouble here. Sigh. If thats the case then if you know any sources that are into modding other than nexus forums please kindly feel free to contact me. much obliged

I know solid snake mods exist for mgs5 but those are nothing but just altered skins of venom snake. If anyone could import solid snake's young and old model along with the solid eye and one version with no solid eye, that would be great. I dont know but some people said it might be against nexus mod's rules to use content from other games on one game but I see alot of users who just dont care doing this. If this cant be posed on nexus mods, maybe on a different site like some mods like this exist. If anyone does this I will really be glad :). This game is kind of getting boring infiltrating fob over and over again, These kind of mods would bring some new "content" to this game and I have really been wanting to play as my favorite solid snake again.

That's because there are plenty of people who don't care about copyright, or who work around it by creating a likeness of something, without using the original asset. To expand on my earlier post, there's nothing to stop you importing assets into your game yourself if you know how, but the moment you attempt to distribute it to others is when you risk your mod being taken down and having your account temporarily barred, or even being banned completely. Nexus are strict on this because they have to be, otherwise they'd be seen to condone it, and you'd have people importing stuff left and right, which would put the entire site at risk for allowing copyright violations. Read the Nexus TOS to understand it better. by copyright standards i dont understand how that is a thing. this is the point of mods. you dont distribute them by charging a fee.

if its against the rules then how come there are imports from other games and venom snake, quiet and stuff from mgs5.

also his solid eye and octocamo sneaking suit as seperate item/armor. and his old and young models being different

can anyone make a solid snake from mgs4 (both young and old) mod for fallout 4?
