  1. From what I've understood, Skyrim SE is just regular Skyrim but with some ENB and some better physics, not much is done in the texture department. Most likely, if you want SE to look like you want, you'll want to use some sort of texture mod. I personally play on the regular version for now as I use mods that, to me, are crucial. Meaning I cannot enjoy Skyrim without them, and many of them have not been ported to SE yet.

It all depends on what you can and cannot do without. If you aren't bothered much when it comes to textures, I recommend SE (Although I'm sure there are some texture mods for SE as well).

Again, I might be wrong but this is just my understanding of SE.

Yeah i feel the same way as you, I've been looking through the SE mods and there isn't enough of the ones i want to play with. Thanks

  2. I have had a 2 year break from Skyrim and am now ready to play it again.

I mainly want to use special edition so i don't have to bother using lots of graphic mods, but as i look at comparison vids on youtube SE looks just brighter and not much better but may look better in game, i have not installed SE yet. My last play through had 100+ mods. I basically want to keep it bare bones and just use patch mods and armors and stuff like that.

So should i bother with Special edition?

  3. I have just built my new rig and while Skyrim is downloading i was wonder which ENB do i choose, i like Realvision but as i went i nexus then i saw SugarSweet ENB revamped, and i like that.

I have never had a ENB mod before let alone a graphics enhancing mod (my old rig sucked) so which is the best and looks great?

  4. I have a GTX 770 and it runs the full version of Realvision ENB with all game settings turned up and graphics mods, really smooth with no noticeable drop in frame rate. So yea the card itself is more than powerful enough. The rest of your system is not as powerful in comparison but still meets the requirements so should be ok.

    My PC specs:

    Intel Core i7 2600 @ 3.40Ghz

    GTX 770 (4GB version)

    8GB RAM

Ok sweet, thanks for the info. Also would it help if i upgraded to 8 or 16 GB RAM because i have been wanting to do that?

  5. I'm trying to make a follower mod for Skyrim using the Creation Kit, it's the first time i have ever done it. I'm doing it while watching a YouTube tutorial, i'm doing it the exact way the the tutorial shows. Then i save it, this is how i save it just in case it's the problem. I open file then click save, it opens up a window called select file. I don't select a file because the is a thing that says "Save as type: TES Plugin Files (*.esp)" then i name the file and click save and the file closes. Now i start up Skyrim and go to Riverwood because that's where i put the mod. Now i look around and the follower is not there... so i'm really puzzled to what has gone wrong.

  6. After the Empire has won the civil war and when the Second Great War happens what do you think will be the out come?

Me personally, i think that the Thalmor will win and Mer will be the rulers of Cyrodiil. I don't think they will take Hammerfell, High Rock or Skyrim straight away but they will eventually. I think the Dunmer will side up with the Thalmor. I think the Argonians will just stay independent.

  7. I use to always play as a Nord but that's getting boring because i"m doing the same thing over and over. I have never done a play though using magic at all, never even done the mages collage quest line. I'm looking to either be a Wood Elf or a High Elf. Do High elf's use archery like the wood elf's do? Is it lore friendly using a high elf as a archer? because i want to use a combination of Archery, Swords or Dagger and magic.

  8. I will be using my bow and it will be working fine, then i take it off to use my fist for a brawl and my fist wont show up, then i go to use my bow again and it wont be there but my guy is doing the animations as if he is holding it also the bow will be out and its like he is no puling the string and i pull all the way back but the arrow goes like 2 metres.. why is it doing this?

  9. Ok first of I've asked a similar question to this before but this is for a diff pc.

I am going to buy my first gaming pc hopefully on the weekend. Im switching from xbox to pc and I liked the xbox graphics on Skyrim and people say that xbox graphics is medium compared to pc.

For my first pc I don't want a fancy one because im only testing out pc gaming and I don't want to buy a $1000+ pc if I don't like it. So this is the pc im thinking of getting

Intel core 2 duo dual core E8500 3.16ghz will coolmaster aftermarket CPU cooler

GSkill rip jaws DDR2 gaming RAM 2x2gb

    ASUS P5Q3 motherboard

ASUS ATI radeon HD4890 graphics card

    3x 250gb hard drives

    Dual tuner DTV tv tuner

    2x DVD+-R/RW burners

Antec pc case (4x5in bays, 4x3in bays)

    Antec 500W PSU

When i put in the specs on game debate is says it will run it on high/medium which is good but i want an opinion of someone who has experiance with computers, i dont know what to belive because some say it will run skyrim on medium then others say it wont. So im really confused...

So will this pc run skyrim on medium settings?

btw my screen size is 1920x1080

  10. Erm. I know of 38 female body mods, 9 male body mods, and 1 male & female body mod. 'Best' is subjective.

'Leave the NPCs the way they originally look'. You mean the face textures? Most body mods have face textures as optional files. You don't have to install them. With many there may be neckseams, or obvious discolouration between head and body though.

CHS will only alter the body under the clothing, yes. That's what pretty much all body mods do.

My choice of mods are CBBE for female, and the SunDracon mesh from Better Males.

Yea I did mean the face textures, that good I didn't know you could have optional files and the neck seems wont matter to much, thanks for your help!

  11. Im not sure if it has been done yet If so link it.

I think if you could clear out an abounded fort then you could start rebuilding it. You have to get supply and all that stuff, it become your fort, you can hire guards a black smith or a merchant.

  12. I am getting my first PC soon and have never done mods for Skyrim, I have got a few ideas of what I want so I will list them but if you have any others that I should get could you list it please.

First off the RP I will be doing is not running everywhere and no fast traveling at all. Eating meals every day (if I have food) sleeping every night. Not over loading myself only carry what I need or what a real person can carry. At the start of the game I will be doing a but of hunting and bounty jobs for Jarls, moving onto quest later on.

    Mods I want:

One that makes the lighting better so torchers are useful.

One that lets you go camping.

One that makes the weather effect you.

One that lets you have more that one follower plus your follower can ride horses.

One that give your horse armour.

Some armour mods but I am still looking to see what I like.

The one that fills out Solitude so it looks like a real capital.

    The Solitude docks one.

The one that makes Dawnstar into a bigger city with walls and more buildings.

One that puts a wall around Morthal.

One that fills out Whiterun and adds lots more markets making it look like the trading hub of Skyrim.

So have I missed anything that a role player would need?

This will be my first ever gaming PC, so I only want a cheep one until I know if im going to like playing on PC and if I do like playing PC next year I will buy a high end PC so I don't want to spend a bucket load on a PC I wont be using for long. The guy will build this PC for $560.

I will only ever be playing Skrim on this PC with mods offcourse.

So will this PC be able to play Skyrim on medium settings with mods installed?
