Fantastic! Thank you for telling me about it. Lol, it came out two days after I posted this question. I'm on ME2 now, but I'll definitely check this out next time I replay ME1.

I just encountered the (apparently) infamous black blob glitch in Peak 15. After a bit of research, I've found two solutions (succinctly described here, for those who are encountering this for the first time: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Mass_Effect#People_and_objects_become_black). However, these are obviously less than ideal. The viewmode unlit console command makes the game look weird, and the FPS Counter mod is WAY overkill. I can't believe pharago is the only Mass Effect fan with the secret to fixing this glitch. Has anyone encountered a standalone fix for this? Could one be made? Do you think pharago would be willing to make one? Are there any other modders in the community that may be capable of making a fix? Any other ideas for a better black blob glitch fix? Thanks.
