I don't know if OP ever got his answer, and it has been a while since my search for the same mod led me to his thread. In fact it has been... months... since I saw his digital plea for help in this desolate waste. No one came forth to help him, save a lone bump from me. I have now returned with what I think is a reliable lead! https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/52030?tab=files This is for SSE, but it is port from Oldrim, so it is indirectly the answer to his request. The problem of every bandit picking up a bow and becoming Lefolas has been solved! It is called "Difficult Archery".

Found the issue. It's sufficient to remove "kryptopyr's Automated Patches". The problem just goes away. Should have known it was a patch.

Right. So I reduced the chance for additional harvest of ingredients in CACO in the Harvest section of the mod, and this time when I activated Hunterborn I only got one Raw Bear Meat out of a plant (a Milk Thistle, this time). That was because the chance for more than one ingredient was then 0%. But when I increased it (keeping it on Vanilla for base amount), I again got (2) raw bear meats. I therefore know it is something of a conflict between CACO (harvest) function and Hunterborn. I can't fathom what is causing it. I am now going to uninstall all CACO and Hunterborn related mods and patches, and try reinstalling them to see what happens. I think I'll put CACO lower in the load order than Hunterborn as well.

Upon further investigation, I started a new game with same loadout, tried to harvest flowers, worked fine. Activated Hunterborn, then this happened. I know it is related to Hunterborn. But this never happened before. I reloaded to before hunterborn activation. I set CACO harvest to vanilla for meat. Now I activate Hunterborn and harvest mountain flower. I get only (2) max raw bear meats this time. This means it is a function of CACO and Hunterborn. I seem to have all the relevant patches. I have no idea. I willl continue tinkering with it.

This is driving me nuts. I finally got a decent modlist up and running and everything seems to be working out. But now, here at level 1 after I leave Solitude (using Alternate Start/ live another life mod), I run into a real game breaker and I can't seem to figure it out. I harvested a mountain flower outside of the gates of Solitude, and BAM, I have a bunch of raw bear meat spawning in my character's inventory! They go up and down and up and down, from 0 to 20. This keeps getting worse and worse. I managed to store all of them out of my inventory into a barrel, they respawn from nothing. I stored all of my ingredients into the barrel (in case that was causing it), then got all the raw bear meat into the barrel, and it will STILL respawn. Talos help me, I'm going to go battier than that schizo bum walking around in Solitude. Here's my plugin list:

Well, doing these things only worked with a new save, but didn't get rid of the problem. Now there is a massive iron sight on the laser pistol which blocks the aiming view! Instead of looking at the back face of the pistol, now it looks at the back face of a large iron sight that is just above it. :(

I have no idea how this started to happen, but whenever I attempt to aim with a laser rifle or pistol, it means I am treated to a very close view of the back end of the weapon rather than a look down the barrel, through the sights, or into a scope. It is ridiculous, and I have no idea how this began. Can anyone refer me to a thread where this is explicitly handled? My searches have come up nil. Otherwise does anyone know what causes this and how to fix it? YAY, THIS IS AWESOME!!!

I'm trying to find a way to let it automatically hide itself. That is one of the reasons why I use iHud, but this mod (and his others) don't auto hide. I can get the thing to hide completely, but nothing about it showing back up. Then I show up back here and YOU ALSO had this great information! WOW! Thanks to the both of you!! I could find this NOWHERE but by word of mouth, apparently!
