  1. You're looking at a complete rebuild of the mod. Despite the similarities, the Fallout engine is different in many crucial ways from the Oblivion engine, which means you're much better off just recreating it in the GECK rather than trying to port it over.
  2. All of a sudden the OBMM is completely incapable of making any permanent changes as any attempt to change anything results in a pop-up saying that it cannot access the Data folder. Reinstalling OBMM did not fix it. Here is the crashdump text: Monday, October 11, 2010 - 2:44:01 AM 1.1.12 (Safe mode) OS version: Microsoft Windows NT 5.2.3790 Service Pack 2 Type: System.IO.IOException Error message: Access to the path 'Data' is denied. Stack trace: at System.IO.Directory.DeleteHelper(String fullPath, String userPath, Boolean recursive) at System.IO.Directory.Delete(String fullPath, String userPath, Boolean recursive) at System.IO.DirectoryInfo.Delete() at OblivionModManager.MainForm.TidyDataFolder() at OblivionModManager.MainForm.MainForm_FormClosing(Object sender, FormClosingEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnFormClosing(FormClosingEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WmClose(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) I have no idea what's causing this, but it's confusing me greatly. (And it does not help that it came at a time when I needed to do a complete reinstallation of everything anyway.) EDIT: To better aid those attempting to help me, I'm running XP Pro 64-bit. I have already tried reinstalling OBMM twice. I have also done everything possible to mess around with permissions(which according to just about every other case of this sort of problem I've found is the cause) but none of that fixed the problem. It still occurs. Given that I am the sole administrator of this computer--since it's my computer that I put together myself--I don't think the permissions have anything to do with it anyway. What else could cause this issue?
  3. Amber and Madness Battle Staves might be a neat idea.
  4. Mmmkay. Thanks, guys. And Chronosmagus I will keep my eye out for that mod if you do make it.
  5. So, I am Listener of the Dark Brotherhood. However, for roleplay purposes--and general feeling bad about the whole thing--I want to be able to quit the Dark Brotherhood entirely(since my character is going to be redeemed, etc, go through the Knights of the Nine quest, that sort of thing.) Now, I searched for a console command I could use to remove myself from the faction, and I couldn't find one. So instead I am asking to see if there is a mod that can help me leave this faction for good after already reaching this point in the faction. I searched the Nexus for a bit and didn't find anything, but I figured that I wasn't using the proper search terms if such a mod does exist. Help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
