I love the Backwater Rifle in Point lookout. Find it by doing the velvet curtain quest. It's a great mid-range rifle with high chances of Critical. The best thing is it uses 10mm ammo which is flippin' everywhere.

What tourist trap isn't complete without a cup o joe's they have those building scatted throughout the DC area and I know there is one on the point lookout broadwalk

Try uninstalling Fallout and then reinstalling it without downloading the 1.6 patch. I know some people have trouble with it.

Perhaps it's because of mods like FOOK. Why take the time to make some weapons when you can get FOOK which has a bunch of new weapons already along with several other additions to fallout.

Did you try this download http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7243 that I post earlier? This files fixes the opticals instead of replacing them with the vanilla scope zoom.

I've just loaded up FOOK and started a new game and everything runs great expect the new weapons that have optics installed on them are messed up. Whenever I zoom in the view through the gun sight is red which I can't see through making tactical shots very difficult. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm pretty sure I installed everything right as everything works as far as new weapons and armor goes. I'm running in addition to FOOK I'm also running. Enchanced Weather Fellout MMM Thanks

Thanks for the Post. I think I've found a fix. This area of the game seemed to be conflicting with the MMM mod. I disabled this mod and I can proceed.

I think I've found a fix. It appears that the crash was some sort of conflict the MMM mod. Just posting for anybody in the future.

Does anyone know the console command for spawning the Sacred Punga Fruit Seed for Point Lookout. My game consistently crashes every time I step foot into that wretched bog for eternal stench. If I can spawn the seed I don't need to travel there and can proceed with the quest. (If their is a way to break into the Tribal camp that will work too) Thanks :thanks:

I've been playing through Fallout 3 Again and all the DLC's released to date. I've been playing Point lookout and I've gotten to a point where I need to gather the Sacred Punga Fruit seeds. I've found the sacred bog and walked through the cave. The Auto Save has saved my game at the Sacred Bog but as soon as I take a few steps on this new map the Game crashes everytime. I've updated to 1.6 and the game still crashes. Does anyone know any fixes or the console control to spawn the Sacred Punga Fruit Seed so I can skip this whole crash area? Thanks :thanks:
