Thank you, both of you. Indeed after installing the Game Wizard and configuring it I can install mods and play the game without issues. And, Pickysaurus, you are right, after clicking 'show bundled' I can see FO4. I did not know that. But in this list are a lot of games I do not own. They are even enabled! I hope Nexus will fix this in the next update. Everything works with the Game Wizard. Thank you for your help.

Hello, Probably it's just me, but I can not find the Fallout 4 extension for Vortex. I viewed and read many tutorials (mainly Youtube) how to get Vortex working with Fallout 4 but they all does not work for me. I am missing the 'scan for games' button and if I manually search for the Fallout 4 extension I can not find it. Not in Vortex itself as not in the Nexus-website. Although I found the extensions for FO3 and FO4-VR. Probably it is something on my fault, there are a lot of mods for FO4 on Nexus, but Vortex cannot install them. I get the message 'this game is not supported for this mod' or something a like. I am doing something wrong here, but seriously do not know what it is. Can somebody please help? Many thanks in advance. PS, I already started the game once. But that did not solve the problem. Hello, I was looking for a mod that completely removes the comments while sneaking. Like "Get away from me" or "Don't even think about that". I already found mods that remove other comments, about sickness, being naked, accidentally friendly fire, destruction spells, and the 'stupid dog' comment. But none of them removes the comment while sneaking / in stealth. I found a mod that comes close: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/50240 This one reduces the ""Get away from me!" comment, but I want it have completely removed. Simple, by installing the extension for the game I do have. Like I did with the Dragon Age Inquisition Vortex Extension. For example. It wasn't that difficult to do. I don't have Fall Out, for example, so I don't need that extension. So I did not installed it. Easy. I just like keeping things clear and ordened.

I already accepted this little mistake in Vortex. It is okay. But now you mention "they do nothing until you install the game" then there is something wrong, they do nothing but are still installed by Vortex. But they do nothing. Howler said the opposite: they are needed. So or they do nothing and are accidentally put in there by the programmer, or they are needed by Vortex and they are called Halo, Master Chief Collection and 7 Days To Die. May I call this a kind of bloatware? But it is okay, just a little oversight. No problem. Case closed.

Okay, thank you for your reply. Maybe the next update of Vortex will remove the requirement for Halo, Master Chief Collection and 7 Days To Die. Thanks, I have to accept this for now.

Sorry I was not very clear. These extensions are not needed because I don't play the games. I am not talking about mods, this are extensions for games I do not own. If I remove the unused extensions they come back after restarting Vortex. I they are needed then why is there a button 'remove'? Apologize for not being very clear. My English is not the best.

Hello, In Vortex I found some extensions for games I do not own. When I remove these extensions they come back automatically. Is there a setting were I can disable the auto download? Or is this a known issue or bug with the latest Vortex version?

Now, a year later, it is still not possible to pay with a debitcard or bank-to-bank transfer (bank wire?), the only payment method is paypal. According to the purchase page. There is only an option for paypal. A year later. Are there any plans to make it easier to pay? I use your mods a lot, so it feels better if I support Nexus.

We all have our own PC / laptop, but only one computer which is good for gaming. But making seperate account is indeed a good advise. We already spoke about that. About the premium membership.. I know that in some countries you can get a creditcard even if you have an average job, that' s not the case here. I don' t know people who have one, and I just have an average job. And have a bad experience with a pre-paid credit card. But if I meet somebody who is a CEO of a big company, or otherwise has a good-payed job, I will ask him if he/she can help me. hi everyone! Just a note from a family who is addicted to modding games. And especially to nexusmods.com After several time with Skyrim, now with Fallout 4. I am Evelyn (aka evy24), and sharing this account with my boyfriend and our son. We all like gaming. I do not really play quests, I just like making settlements and making beautyfull people and armor/clothing, so the mods Sim Settlements and the Bodyslider (outfit-studio) are my most used mods. And I am a fan of Greekrage (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/users/34325250) and like to adjust his settlements to my likings, filled with beautyfull people and stuff. My boyfriend is a beginner in making mods, but he is doing it quite well. Before you ask: no mods for public release because he is using a lot of assets from others without permission. But our son and I have a lot of fun with this 'home-brew-mods' . Our son is the only one here who is actually playing the game (FO4). He likes to be the stealthy guy who completes a lot of quests without the enemy seeing him. A lot of fun to watch his gameplay. I initially doubted about posting this 'useless' post, but I did because want to say Thank You to all the modders and the people behind the scenes of nexusmods. Especially in this crazy Corona-times, where we can not go to work, not go to visit family, to go to a bar or otherwise enjoy the normal live. It is a shame we can not become a premium member because we don't want a PayPal-account (privacy-issues) but this 'Thank You-post' should fill that gasp a little. We hope so. Hello, As the tiltle says, I can not get the BFF option while talking to Preston. I tried a lot, including some console commands, but after the BBSO I still do not get the option for the BFF. Can anybody help me, please? P.S. I already did the settlement-quests and also the Castle quest for the Minuteman. But still I do not get this option. Did I miss something?

(not sure if that is a good English saying) While I'm working in the workshop (Fallout 4) I use the SOE (as it is called in the workshop) a lot! I liked the mod so I decided to give it an endorsement. But I could not remember which mod it was, so I started searching for 'SOE' on Nexusmods.com. Could not find it initially. But... I found another mod which is not compatible with DCMS. And after playing with some mods, an eyebot appears suddenly in my settlement, selecting it in console reveals that TWO2 was responsable for this. I also found a PTT - with MCM hotkeys. And it seems you need TextInputMenu for the use of RA. Other mods work together with SKE. Or SK. Also there is a lot of discussion which texturemod is better. VTO or TOP? And another mod removed all other CCAP Options for compatibility purposes. Or the modmaker recommends to use AE. Or a patch if you are using G2M. Also I found a mod you can use with and without AWKCR. And others say it improves the general image quality by adding new LUT. Oh, please, let talk plain English. That 's not too difficult. JAFLA! Yes please. Why do you make it so dificult to pay for a membership? I don' t want a PayPall account (because of their Privacy-Policy) and I do not earn enough monthly to get a CreditCard (I just have an average job) But, please, I want a Premium member-ship because the download-limit makes me crazy and because I use the Nexusmods-site a lot. So the people behind this deserve some donations. The day you offer the possibility to pay with IDEAL or other easy and secure payment-method will be the day that I am a Lifetime supporter. You deserve it, but why make it so difficult?
