Yeah, it happens with males, too. I've only noticed it on elves and random female humans. Every time I've encountered this problem, the npc is dead, as well which is kinda weird. I'm surprised this is happening because the only other time this has happened to me was when I had Bijin warmaidens and scoped bows conflicting.. As for the missing textures, I'll try reinstalling everything like you said as well as moving xpmsse. Thanks for the advice! I do have ECE's face meshes installed because of it being a "requirement" for UNP for no neck seam, so maybe that's causing the problem?

Hello, after playing Skyrim SSE for a little while, I started noticing a few random npcs with a dark brown face and a completely different skin tone. I'm pretty sure the cause of this is because of my mods, but I'm not sure which ones are conflicting. I have a few oldrim mods as well if it's important. I was in the middle of doing the daedric quest for the sanguine rose, and when I awoke in the temple, I saw the priestess of dibella had blue transparent skin, no hands, and no face except for eyebrow textures and the mouth, which has an updated texture for teeth, too. I'm not sure why this is only taking affect on this npc, because all other priestesses I've witnessed have been fine. I use the unpb body, adorable face, fair skin complexion + the fair skin blank detail fix optional file for neck seam issues, and the high poly feet and hands for unp bodies. I'll have my load order in a spoiler below. This is a new save game that I've been playing; I haven't uninstalled any mods that would cause this effect. So, I just got to the college of winterhold. First thing I noticed was that Faralda kept using the magelight spell to power up the columns of mana light or whatever, but would do so before she even got to the column. So, she only got the first one to even glow..she tried spamming for the second one then just went back to where she was standing for the initiation. I thought nothing of it. Next, I went to talk to Mirabelle. Noticed this right away: she was missing her head. I have no idea why.. the only thing I can think of is a race mod that I've uninstalled after finding her headless, changing the 111nord race for skyrim beautiful followers head.dds to match my body texture, or previously switching from RaceMenu to ECE and then back after prefering RM. Has anyone else experienced this, or have any fixes? Thanks. **UPDATE: It's every female npc in the college now...Faralda had her head but when I went into the hall of the elements and spoke to the dark elf female novice, she was missing a head, too. Hi, so it's been a while since I've played Skyrim, but as of late I've been interested in it again. I vaguely remember that I stopped playing the game a few months ago due to crashing I was experiencing as well as just general boredness with the game. Currently I CTD after at least a half hour and I have no idea why. It could be mods needing cleaning, but I'm not positive. Here is my current mod list sorted: I've gotten SKSE, SkyUI, and any other mods updated to the current version, and deleted and uninstalled any mods that conflicted with others (Enhanced Character Edit + Racemenu). My Dual Sheath Redux Patch is also giving me a hard time.. I cannot uninstall or deactivate Elianora's redguard home, merta black rose armor, celes nightingale armor, or clearsky hideout without the patch saying that the masters are missing in loot. My computer is a Gigabyte P25W-CF3 15.6 Inch Laptop (you can google the specs, except I opted to have windows 7 instead of windows 8 ) Skyrim only registers my Intel® HD Graphics 4600 card instead of my Nvidia one, which is another problem in itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I'm having the same problem except I'm using a different mod. I've been trying to solve the problem but there aren't many others with this problem so I'm out of luck so far.

I'm having the same issue except I only downloaded one mod. (black sacrament armor) I've done everything required but after the bethesda logo fades my game crashes. I have my files in the right places and i have bEnableFIleSelection=1 in the skyrimprefs.ini document under [launcher]. I also have the plugins.txt file with my mod's name.
