Ok, so recently I decided to change Skyrim to play in Japanese. I did this because I find the voice acting to be much better, and hearing it can act like immersion. However, I can't read it yet. So menus and subtitles are a pain. Basically, I think it would be amazing to have a mod that gave English subtitles and menus, but kept everything else in the other language. In my case, you'd hear the Japanese actors talking but the subtitles would be English, and the menus would be English too. I hope someone can make this, it would be a real help.

I am having a similar problem, but are you using SKSE? Some languages are not compatible with it, like when I changed my language to Japanese, I uninstalled SkyUI and Categorized Favourites Menu, and then I launched it straight from Steam instead of SKSE. Hopefully this will help you, as my problem is that it keeps CTDing after the Bethesda logo, and nothing I do is helping it.
