I keep getting "an error occurred" within a red bordered box on any file related to Skyrim (NMM or manual). Hope you get this fixed as I cant get ANYTHING from the nexus right now for the past 12 hours

Nvm Fixed issue. Turns out being in first person with the camera mod on, then saving and reloading without the mod causes the crash. Don't know how common this was for people and I might be an idiot for it :P I just hope the mod author unblocks me from the file page, even though i might not need to go back there again, but still feels like a low blow since I have always been well behaved on this site.

I'm in a stump here. I recently just got Oblivion Reloaded installed along with RAEVWD so I could enjoy looking in the distance and get the great features that OR has to offer like the ram disk. One thing about OR that really got to me was the enhanced camera it included. It looks horrible with torches and especially aiming with bows. So I turn it off in the .ini file that OR included (CameraMode) and when I get to the main menu and load my save it crashes within 2-3 seconds of loading, a CTD to be exact. I was a little perplexed so I curiously turned it back on and the game loads fine. I went to the mod page to post the problem in the comments, but I made the mistake of calling the camera mod crappy, so he blocked me from the files page (Amazing! sure showed me!). Now I'm hoping someone a little more reasonable can help me with this problem, or if even anyone else had this issue.

I've tried everything I could think of but no dice. So i decided to came here and see if anybody had a similar problem. I've put the sound quality to 44100HZ. A while back it had worked but this crash came out of nowhere. I remember installing a few mods after my previous session with the game but I have also uninstalled them and still no luck. Any ideas?

Are you putting all these weapons into one mod? Or are you making them separate? Thanks for adding me in the list!

One handed Sword, Dagger... axe? Sword and by reading that guys description I feel a bit dumb now lol. Considering that if it's possible, can you make two onehanded swords? The other name would be Gibson. They would both look alike but with different colors maybe? The story would be about some guy who had split persona and was cursed into a sword thus putting each persona into one sword. I'm horrible at story-telling :P

Yeah. No. Rubbish. Women are NOT "weaker". There's a LOT more involved with how someone is physically built than just hormone levels. Believe me, I've actually studied biology in depth. Plus we've got fantasy races here, like Orcs and Nords and Khajiits and Argonians, who differ considerably from "humans". And like I said, the protagonist IS NOT necessarily a warrior at all - they can just as well be a mage or a stealth rogue. But this isn't something I want to debate and that is not what my post was about. Oh I didn't know this. Was this fact a big part of the main plot? I kinda hope it isn't but if it is oh well I guess.

I would love to have crossbows brought back. Why Bethesda took out the advanced mechanism for archery since after Morrowind is a mystery to me. :psyduck:

I think this would be a simple mod too. As I'm a little familiar with Construction Kits and know that each weapon name has its own ID and stats. So all someone would have to do is re-texture the improved versions uniquely for each one. Or maybe it can be done now? I'm not totally sure. But it would make crafting slightly more fun.

I'm not sure about you guys but when I found out about improving weapons and armor I had the idea that they might get a different look when upgraded. This is just an idea to throw out there since I'm not experienced in modding stuff like that.

I didn't update my game at all except the first patch they released. I used the 4 GB RAM enabler (Yes I DO have 4 gigs dont ask) and still have been getting more crashes more frequently ever since I hit my 30 hour mark. I've had about 4 since then. Honestly I think it's the texture mods. But thats only a theory as to why. Going to disable the mods and see if it crashes again. :psyduck:
