The Blue with Yellow piping is as iconic as you can get for the 'Vault-Tec' look. I'm curious if anyone has changed the skins on firearms and basic clothing to Blue and yellow so that they look like they came fresh out of the Vault-Tec Gift Shop?

While looking at some youtube videos I wound up watching the one entitled "Top 10 places with "No Girls Allowed" rules". The Top of the list is "The Burning Tree Club" in Bethesda Maryland. A Private golf club so stringent on it's "No estrogen inside" rules that they refused access to a Female Secret Service Agent during a presidential visit. Now, offhand I'd like to see this place as a location in the game. I mean what would happen to it after the bombs fall? Would it be the bastion of a cadre of over-the-top men-only cultists? Or would the first thing that happened after the bombs would be a sudden overthrow of post-apocalyptic Amazonian Warriors, claiming it for their own? I think there's room for a little fun here.

That would be great. Hmm... Not certain, really. I guess one handed would be best because two-handed would be a spear, right? *Chuckle* and now I can't help but think of there being one 'named' pointy stick that is known as "Better Than", as in "Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick"

Not quite what I was thinking but hey, this is cool too. Thanks.

I was thinking that an interesting addition to the world of fallout would be the most basic of weapons. A sharp Stick. Uncle Roe once commented that Lucky Harith has more weapons than you could shake a sharp stick at, and he probably has that sharp stick too. So it would make sense that the largest quantity of Sharp sticks would be in Lucky Harith's inventory. Obviously it would be low-damage and low-cost but some people would no doubt love to try to play through an entire game using one. What do you think?

OK. So the White House is a smouldering, ghoul-infested, radioactive crater. This is a given. But... What if as the war was beginning the President realised that the symbol of American power was the biggest target on the continent, and had military engineers working around the clock to create a super top-secret bunker hidden in downtown D.C. that would act as an emergency White House during and after a nuclear exchange. The premise is that it would be fairly close to the original so that the President could actually get to it in an emergency but far enough away it would not take the full impact of nuclear bombardment. Also it was still in the process of being built when the bombs dropped so it's very bare-bones and poorly stocked. As it stands the 'essential' rooms like the Oval Office, the attached television/radio broadcast booth and the President's personal bedroom are the only parts that are fully furnished and fully stocked. Other things like kitchen, bathrooms, meeting rooms, additional sleeping areas and whatnot are semi-finished and the layout would be identical to that of the original White House. This is mainly an idea so that the player can if they want can claim the "White House" as their player home without really messing up the cannon "And over there is the crater where the White House used to be" cannon of the game.

I personally would like to see more 'variants' of the vault suits. Not so much recoloring and new numbers but things like Vault Suits patterned after specific jobs in the vault (as seen in the GOAT results) For example there is apparently a Vault Chaplin, so maybe there is a Vault-tec approved Blue and Yellow Cassock? Also I'd like to see the Armored Vault suits where parts have been salvaged from other people's armor to make new versions, Such as a Painspike Armored Vault Suit, or Talon Company Armored Vault suit. Just a thought.

The idea of a lot of little shelters is a good idea. We saw a well-planned one in Hamilton's Hideaway, and in the little bunker under the Calvert Mansion plus the one at the National Guard Depot. It would make sense that a lot of people would have tried making their own in back yards like during the cold war. Finding them all would be like a treasure hunt.

What I would love to see is the items from the "Freddy Fear" advertisement to be added to the game. Essentially outfits that are meant for kids with very very LOW armor values. Cheap children's costumes made from cheap affordable materials. For example: Power Armor... made from Cardboard.

Perhaps one of the more endearing characters in New Vegas is No-Bark in Novac. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJYHIQxF-fc I was curious if anyone had made it possible to turn him into a companion. If nothing else It could be interesting to travel the Mojave and hear him comment on all manner of conspiracy theories on various things "You don't want the Hoover Dam to fall by gum. There's things under that there lake that the government drowned on purpose and we ain't ready to fight back if they suddenly un-drown!" Ideas for being a companion. I figure his default weapon would be a named knife "Ol' Sticky", Reflecting his claim to being a scientist as well as a conspiracy nut, he might give the player a Perk that boosts their science and lockpicking skills (Making it easier to seek out the truth) Wears piecemeal armor similar to what Marked Men wear in Lonesome Road His own quest. There's no telling that kind of strangeness he has in his past or what conspiracies he knows that are real. He might meet old friends, enemies or maybe winds up needing help to thwart a major event that is it too bizarre to believe.

I found it kind of cool that Father Elijah made a gun that shoots holographic projectiles out of parts in the Sierra Madre, and it made me wish you could do something similar. Let's face it, some robots and turrets and things have some really awesome-looking ordinance and it could be kind of cool to take a skill like "Robotics Expert" and expand it a little allowing you to scrounge destroyed, damaged or docile robots for items like Protectatron Lasers, Robobrain mind-blasts, or those awesome blue beams that Roboscorpions shoot. Heck... imagine the guns you wind up with. Eyebot helmets that shoot pulsed lasers, a Robobrain headpiece that lets you Mind-Blast others, A Sentry Bot arm that spits lead with increased accuracy to a regular Gatling gun or a Robo Scorpion tail worn like a backpack , with the blaster over the shoulder where it's aimed like a missile launcher. Ah this is just my mind going for 'rule of cool' tech. I'm sure there other people can come up with some stuff on their own.

I've been having fun slipping clothing onto characters via the reverse-pickpocket skill but I've notice that the only person who ever actually 'suffers' from the clothing-based disguise is me. I've tried this with all of the factions and never got to see soldiers suddenly turn on one another when I next saw them strutting about in their new clothing. While I still want to be able to keep on doing this, I was curious if someone could add something to the game that would cause some Legion guy who put on an NCR uniform he found in his pocket, suddenly being attacked by everyone in Cottonwood Cove.
