  1. So I've gotten my Fallout NV game to a load order that behaves well and doesn't crash. The question I have is for people's FPS rates. I can get 60 sometimes, but more often than not, my game lingers around 50-45 range. I haven't played much on it yet, but is it like this for everyone? is it something as simple as a limitation of the game engine?| I have all sorts of stability mods and ini edits and have spent much time tending to it, but my frames are not at a good 60 like vanilla NV is. Is this inescapable? How have you dealt with your FPS? Thanks.
  2. I fixed it. For some reason my install of NVAC was not performing b/c my nvac.log was missing so I reinstalled and everything seems to be okay now.

I've been able to coc into primm but I haven't done much exploring when doing that as it's time consuming with loading screens. I thought maybe it was the NCR Trooper Overhaul because I read something about meshes not loading correctly and when NCR troopers spawn in the game CTD's. I tried without that mod but it still crashed. I'm not sure what the conflict is. I checked FOEdit and Loot says all my mods are relatively okay. I thought maybe it was loading too much so I tried deactivating all my texture packs but that didn't help either. Please and thank you. EDIT x2: SIKE. It worked one time. I'll try another new save but it's back to crashing at the same spot. EDIT x#: So the problem seems to be NVAC. I had it installed in my NV Directory and I removed it and tried it in MO2. When I disabled it, I was able to progress in the game, turned it back on and I CTD at the same spot. According to some comments, people are having similar problems. I'm not sure why though-- I'm not too familiar with the technical speak.
  4. So recently my computer was acting really strange and eventually I had to reinstall windows. Before I reinstalled, I copied all my Mod Organizer loadouts/ROMS/profiles and I was able to get Skyrim and FO3 working again, but I have been having trouble returning to New Vegas. Why might this be? Is it conflicting? Do I need to create the character and wait for mods to load and then try loading. I had the mod load order perfectly stable beforehand. The other thing I think that MAYBE was a major conflict was Coito Urgo Sum with something, but the game ran surprisingly well. I don't recall but... Any help is appreciated.
  5. I removed my LARGE size mods: Falskaar, Rigmor of Bruma, Project AHO, Moonpath to Elswyr, and Beyond Reach and the game did not crash. The errors are presents in MO2 still, but does this mean that I'm simply trying to load too much? *NIGHT NIGHT*
  6. So I recently got back into modding Skyrim and this is my first go at SSE. For the most part, it runs well and my only hinderace is the perfomance of my machine. Now I've reached a point where my game crashes about 2 minutes after creating one. It's loading up my mods and eventually it crashes. I get these two errors from MO2: 1.) The failed plugins are: • Couldn't load DP_Extender.dll (4CA.) CACO SKSE 2.0.17 DLL). The last error code was 1114. • example plugin version 1 (ExATKDataPlugin.dll, 4CA.) CACO SKSE 2.0.17 DLL) reported as incompatible during query. • Couldn't load MagExtender.dll (4CA.) CACO SKSE 2.0.17 DLL). The last error code was 1114. • papyrusutil plugin version 2 (PapyrusUtil.dll, 0.) PapyrusUtil SE - Scripting Utility Functions) reported as incompatible during query. 2.) An overwrite from Fus Ro D'oh. I'm not entirely sure how to deal with overwrites in MO2. I saw something about dragging the folders into where the virtual directory of the mod is, but I'm not certain. The first error is more lengthy then when I tried it an hour or so ago, so I haven't investigated that error, but I thought I might post before I go to bed because you never know. That's what I thought my error message was before. Anyway, if you have any tips... I appreciate it. Be gentle-- please and thank you. (I also thought it might be as something as simple as too many scripts or data and if that's the case... I can remove stuff because I was able to remove all my large plug ins and the game did not CTD... but I'll check tomorrow.) Thanks friends.

  8. So I'm okay at modding, I understand it pretty well, it's usually I get it down and i leave it for a while and I return and it all comes back to me. Anyway, I'm trying to merge some plug-ins for NV and I'm having trouble with MO2. Merged Plugins refuses to recognize my MO2 directory. I've found a forum that said the directory may be too deep into files so i moved it and it's: -User -Games -Mods -MO2 Mods path -FONV -mods All my mods are working and are relatively stable. No issues or anything like that, I'm just confused on why it won't let me proceed. I also have to set the directory to MO2 and I assume that means the actual install of MO2 which is: -User -Games -Mods -MO2 Slightly off tangent (maybe?) I also believe I have created a merged patch, because I've found it in a different folder, but I am unable to export it to MO2. I'm used to it being put in the MO2 directory once I close and reopen it. The esp created does not have a data folder and (like I've said) I'm not too good with mods so if I don't have some sort of guidance with a data folder-- it's hard to put into MO2 for me. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
  9. Everytime I bind my keys in controls, they immediately revert back to what they were. I managed to set the keys once, but I want to change the 3rd person camera key b/c it interferes with the grenade throwing from FWE. I change the controls and it immediately resets back to what it was. I'm not sure why, any ideas? Thanks!

  11. So I have a hefty load order and I've reached the point where if I activate the smallest mod, it causes textures to disappear. It also will remove my pipboy and the entirety of body textures? My active plugins are at 194. I assume the game is simply unable to accomodate so much, but I do have some texture mods. I find it odd that mods that don't change the textures are what cause the red exclaimation points to appear. They are hovering near megaton and springvale. I haven't ventured far enough to see what else they affect. I've sorted them and I've gone through and repaired them with FO3Edit but I've reached a point where I'm not sure what to do. I've disabled all the mods that conflict or are deemed unnecessary by FO3Edit. Correct my stupidity if you please... Thanks! I've mimicked my load order as close to the FWE's as possible. ​I got rid of MMM's natural selection, zones respawn, and tougher traders. ​I got an installer for the newest Unofficial FO3 Patch and ran the exe and I moved it under Zeta on MO. ​I went and got all the Blackened compatibility patches for my MODS and placed them directly in my DATA folder. ​I moved Alternate Travel to the beginning of the load order (it is an ESP) ​I have removed the Fellout DLC ​I am still experiencing some problems, any thoughts? ​(Thanks again, I really appreciate it!)

The game crashes quite frequently and I thought I'd try my luck on here, despite the fact that very little people still play FO3 (I imagine.) âI will say that I have -Alton,IL -Fellout -More Quests directly in my data folder, so I'm not sure if it's entirely redundant to have it in MO. I don't think some of the animation mods function to their full potential. I mainly had problems with EVE downloading so I sort of abandoned it. âAnyhow, any input is appreciated!

There are a few mods that allow customization to the inventory and SkyUI has made the inventory much more tolerable on the PC. âHowever, I am still flustered by the amount of clutter and long lists in the inventory. âI was thinking of a mod that behaves like a key ring but for more categories. âSomething along the lines of âCuirasses: âThen it would have chest pieces âBlades: âAll the sword weapons âThe most likeable option would be one where you could simply name the sub-category yourself and then have items automatically sorted into the inventory container of choice. âAgain, I've seen some mods that have done this, but they seem to scratch the surface at a basic level. âAnd if you know of a mod that serves this function, please enlighten me. âThanks!
