I couldn't do that, the old and new folders were the same. But anyway, the problem fixed istelf by just changing back and forth profiles despite not having matching ID. I'm kinda at a loss as to why it worked, but hey I'll take it. I was desperate and it payed off! Thank you anyway dear :D

Hello here ! I'm in a bit of a pickle. My main save seem missing when I launch the game via vortex. I tried creating a new one, and it's save correctly when relaunching the game. Via steam it's visible (I didn't launch it to not corrup the save, I may be a noob but I'm not that stupid - hopefully -). I searched a bit online before posting here, and it seem the issue is that I have somehow changed profile (I don't remember doing so before the issue started, I have since dabbled with it to try to fix the problem, with no success). Therefore, I have two folders in my saves folded, one for each profile, both containing their respective save files. Currently the one visible in "profiles" - and the one selected when I launch the game" is the one with my new save, and the other one cointain (thanksfully) all my old save files. And I don't know how to merge them, or at the very least switch to my old profile to continue on my old save ! I must be blind, cause I searched everywhere in vortex with no avail. Can someone help me ? "This one would be most grateful", as my Khajiit would say. With regards, Tenshi
