Well folks, after numerous failed attempts in the past to get a well modded and stable version of Skyrim. Thanks to the STEP guide after only two tries I finally have a stable modded game! I saved that profile and have been working on another non vanilla profile. I'm up to 368 mods so far, ran into a few problems along the way as to be expected but for the most part thanks to the clear and concise STEP guide I think I might just finally understand WTF I'm doing. I've used MO, LOOT etc not all but most of these programs in the past while following guides but the guides gave very little understanding of what the heck you were doing and why only expecting you to ignorantly follow the guide and hope you get it 100% right. The STEP guide does a great job of walking you through the process and explaining not only how but why, which is very important as soon as anything goes wrong, which I'm sure we all know something always goes wrong lol. Anyway just wanted to say thanks for pointing me in the right direction it's much appreciated and it's nice to see the modding process finally becoming a little more streamlined and accessible, though the well thought out concept of the STEP guide played a large part in that as well.
