So, I have used the Nexus for (at least for what I would consider) a very, very long time. But, somewhere along the way the mod heading denoting where a mod was to be placed/it's intended function, seems to have been removed. I am kinda hoping that I am simply old, and missing something obvious, but other than looking at mods by endorsements, there does not seem to be any meaningful way to sort through mods, i.e., look under the overhaul heading to find such gems as perkus maximus by T3nd0, that I would otherwise never have found, as they simply are not as popular as some other ones tend to be.

I'm not having any luck with editing the game's non-radio music. In particular, I'd like to change the music played when exiting Vault 101 the first time (ExitTheVault.mp3). I have the new music file created, renamed the old one, moved it to a special backups folder, and changed its extension to '.old', just to keep the thing out its old home in the Music\Special folder.
At least, in my mind, it should be working. But it keeps playing the old song. I'm thinking I might have to do something to that ArchiveInvalidation file or whatever it is, but I'm not sure what to do to it, if that is even the issue.
You can probably see I'm not too smart when it comes to modding the game, so any help in the simplest of terms would be greatly appreciated.
Another thing to try is the invalidation invalidated utility in the DL section, it appears to remove the need to bother with it

Yes! Thank you, that is exactly what I meant, it's great that it wasn't actually removed. Navigating the possibilities is otherwise impossible, at least in my humble opinion
