  1. Hello there, people of the Nexus forums. After posting this question on Steam and then remembering after a comment made by a smart-ass to never post a legitimate question about Skyrim there, I have come to you to hopefully explain something that ails my game. So, every once in a while, and usually after playing for a bit of time, I start to get black holes in the world geography as well as in the map. These holes disappear when I get close, but reappear when I get far enough away, both on the map and in-game. Could someone please explain why this is? It would really help out, and I think it may have something to do with A Quality World Map - With Roads, but I'm not too sure on that either. Respond asap. :)
  2. Is there a mod out there, on Nexus or Steam Workshop, that changes the Ragged Flagon and the Cistern to look more and more...well...wealthy as you did quests and progressed in the storyline, Hearthfire excluded, as I don't have it? Thanks!

I know I want to keep all of my lighting mods, SkyRe, Live Another Life, UFO, and Dynamic Things.
  4. And how do I correctly install SkyRe's file for it?
  5. I have a question on that: how will I know when the SkyRe Uncapper INI works? When I first installed it, I saw no change in the perks I was getting or anything like that, all I saw was a slight change in the health increase I recieved on level up.
  6. So, I have just recovered my Skyrim game from an issue of consistent crashing that involved the DLCs in some way. As such, my installation of Skyrim is completely and utterly vanilla, as I used the STEP guide to a clean vanilla install (or something like that, I forget the title.) Now, my question is, I want to reinstall SkyRe (and by that I mean SkyRe itself as well as the Community Uncapper), No Sneak Attack Sound, and Pure Waters. What would be the best order to install those to avoid future problems? I have BOSS, but just to be sure...
  7. Update: After figuring that just unchecking the DLC's boxes in the Data Files Section in the launcher was the safest route, and doing so, the game worked fine. Got all the way through the tutorial. Next question: WHY was it crashing to begin with? Now I'm just curious.
  8. How exactly do I go about removing the DLC? When I followed the guide, Steam automatically reinstalled it and the HRDLC when it validated my game cache, regardless of what I did. Should I just remove it manually, or would that cause problems?
  9. Okay. Done. Still crashes. Even earlier now. Just when Lokir says "Damn you Stormcloaks. Skyrim was fine until you came along. Empire was nice and-" It generally crashes where I placed the dash.
  10. Update: uninstalling Steam didn't even help. I am not using any mods, am using the vanilla launcher, and have nothing else that could possibly corrupt the memory. Anyone else wanna try and help?
  11. It's finally over. I have tried everything, from ini tweaks to uninstallling all of my mods and reinstalling them one by one. I've tried a full game uninstall. I've browsed these forums, Bethesda's forums, and Steam's forums, trying every possible tweak I could find to try and make Skyrim work. I even uninstalled SKSE. But no matter what I do, I can't fix Skyrim. I always crash right as I begin to follow Hadvar in the tutorial, always, without fail. Nothing works. I'm hoping that some of you may be able to tell me what I am doing wrong. When I uninstall Skyrim, I use 'Delete Local Files' in Steam. Is this right? I feel that it isn't. Cleaning the masters with BOSS doesn't help, either. What can I do? Help me, please, I want to be able to play my favorite game once more.
  12. Hello there, I was just curious if there was a mod in existence that would give you an independent choice in the tutorial? I.e. when you decide between Ralof and Hadvar you have a third choice that would give slightly different options, perhaps even fighting both factions in the beginning dungeon? Maybe just Imperials, as you are an escaped prisoner and not an enemy of the Stormcloaks. If there is no such mod, if anyone would be interested in creating it I would attempt to assist in any way I can. For example, I could give an idea or two on how two unbind your hands, and perhaps even find a few pieces of gear. If there is any interest, it would be much appreciated.
