    I'm doing a basic SKSE install. I've included the mods installed so far and the papyrus log, which of course I don't know how to read. Speaking of, if anyone knows a good forum to have them read or whatever please let me know. You can interact with people but all other animation and what not is non existent. Actually never-mind since apparently just the screen capture of part of the log was too big to attach.

    Did a typical AAF build going off of this instruction manual and also doing what I could to reduce the overall number of mods needed. Had this happen a few times and got ride of the issue. Though I guess what I really want to know is, will it break my brand new save if I sacrifice the offending mod. The ones it has to be is either Extended Dialogue Interface 1.3.6, CWSS Redux, AAF Family planning enhanced 2.4. Worked before I put those one to finalize the build I want for now.     Ok, installed the one you linked and the other mods add-on and the hairs back, gonna see if I can get to Diamond city and if I can, I'll consider it fixed.

    I can't even figure out how to change it. Since the loot editor says to load it another way. However I see people say that its sometimes random and or that Vortex already does the same thing. The thing I really can't figure though is why the one file takes my hair and if I put another on will it give it back to me.

    https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10205?tab=files Super light Companion tweaks (Piper Cait Curie MacCready) This is the mod thats causing the crash, and the Piper edit short hair long fringe gives me back my hair. So what could I try now? Because I got a pretty good start with this game and I'd hate to abandon it already.

    Ok the hair thing traveled, so I'm gonna try one mod and then reload and etc.

    Well now the other problem is that my characters hair disappeared. I'm gonna try to open a few saves ago to see if it travels.

    Ok so when I deleted the piper and cait mod it fixed it. I'll just try another one with the save right before the city.

    Would I be able to switch back over to NMM without a bunch of hassle? Because the thing works really really well, expect for that one thing. And the mod is the very light companion tweak mod with options. Should I try uninstalling those and seeing if I can get into Diamond city?

    Processor is an i9 and GPU a 2080Ti and so forth so I know its not hardware. And the only mod specific to Diamond City would be a Piper light makeover. All of the programs work together. The only thing I did different was putting the SRC and Data files into Vortex as 7zip files. Now if thats the problem then is there a way to take those out and put the two normal files into place?

    So the title says most of whats going on. F4SE was installed with the two data folders being ran through Vortex. All other mods installed through vortex as well. Loot says it looks good, though suggests another load order. The game runs smooth and even stopped with the over-lapping dialog stuff, but it keeps crashing when I try to get to Diamond city. I tried from 3 different sides before writing this. Plus I'm not even running that many mods compared to some of the people out there. Anyway some insight would be appreciated.
