Any ideas??

DAI works great about 50% of the time, the other 50% it is very sluggish. Does anyone know of common, "running in the background" applications that might be causing this? I don't change any of the settings when I play, and run it on fairly low settings and with no mods. Just doing single-player. I've tried turning off Origins Overlay and going offline, to no avail. Any help would be appreciated! Specs: Alienware 18X, GeForce GTX580M, Intel Core i7-2860QM CPU@2.50Ghz, 16GB RAM, Windows 7, 1920x1080 60Hz resolution

Thanks Pheo, for some reason the game started working. I imagine the problem might crop up again. If so, I'll take your advice!

The only thing I did was uninstall the file via NMM. That leaves it with the red "X" next to the file on the NMM dashboard instead of the Green Checkmark, NMM said it was uninstalled. Is there another step I need to do?

I recently loaded two mods, "Better Vampire Lord Transformation" and "Vampire Lords can Loot and Activate". Immediately after loading them my game CTD's on Start-up. I subsequently uninstalled both files and the game still CTD's on Start-up. I've been playing Skyrim for over 250 hours with no problems. I've had Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn DLC's loaded from the beginning. I have a number of other Steam and Nexus Mod mods loaded as well, but they never gave me any problems. I looked at the forums for these two mods, as well as the descriptions, and there is nothing about this kind of problem. I used NMM to install and uninstall the files. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hopefully someone has an idea here..... My game has been working fine, many hours of game play with many mods used and no problems. However, Immediately after adding and attempting to play them my game CTD's at Startup. I've had Dawnguard loaded since I began playing Skyrim. I uninstalled the 2 mods via Nexus Mod Manager, and although both show now as uninstalled my game still CTD's at Start-up. Neither of these two mods has any information about a situation like this. Any ideas??
