Mods for this game can be tricky, but for a multiclassing mod, all it should take is to find the Neverwinter Nights 2 folder in your Documents folder, and there should be a folder called "override" in there. If not, create one, and then unzip your mod into that folder, in a subfolder if you like. As long as it's unzipped, and doesn't have any duplicate or optional files in it, that should be it. (If there's more than one file with the same name in override, even if they're in subfolders, the game will only use one of them, and it might not be the one you intend.) Next time you start the game it should be modded. There are no settings to set. This is the case for any version of the game, including GOG's.

I am a modder, but Morrowind modding was early in my experience, and I never learned the coding aspect for it. What you're asking for seems like it must already exist somewhere, though.

But the opposite happens at the end of the game, and it's just as annoying, I think. You probably remember this, but once you complete the plot and everyone believes you're the Nerevarine, people won't give you the normal conversations anymore and just say, "Oh! Um, uh, er, you're the Nerevarine, and I'm just a lowly normal person and I don't know how to talk to someone as important as you!" So I guess you'd want a "be civil, and no more than that" mod.

Assassin attacks are included in one of the official expansions that are active by default. Once you hit a certain level, they start attacking as a hook to bring you into the expansion content. At the time it came out, it made sense, because people would be adding the expansion to the vanilla game and would be expecting something new to happen, but now, when new players are being dropped into the game with all expansions active by default, it's more of an annoyance. I didn't know of Ahnassi, but I never played a male character in Morrowind, so I guess I wouldn't have even come across that dialogue. In fact, I can't think of any other romances at all in any Elder Scrolls game until Skyrim. It could be because the dialogue systems were not very convenient for making extensive conversations with, not to mention the lack of animations outside of mods. However, there is a very brief semi-romance for female characters, or at least something that can be taken as a romance with a little imagination, with Nels Llendo, who you can find on the road south of Pelagiad. And for mods to give you a boyfriend as you asked in the other thread, well, there's this, but you might want to mod what Caius looks like.

It's a new open-source (and I think cross-platform) engine to run the game using the same game data files, with some built-in improvement features.

Heh, I wish I got that option, but he ran off on his own at the end. I don't know why. I never had him in the party by choice, and did lots of things he didn't like, like not giving him back his special knife, didn't do anything that would have raised my influence with him, and yet he left "peacefully" at the end. So she was there in the ghost town! That's what I was curious about. Thanks. :)

For me, it was the same, but accidental. Bishop fought with no weapons or armour whenever he was in the group simply because I never had him in the group except when it was forced, and I kept all gear off of him because I didn't want a chaotic evil character in my group, and didn't trust him! I tried Ammon Jerro a couple of times, but he seemed weak to me, too, and I stopped using him quickly. I basically forgave him after he finally showed remorse on Shandra's farm. But the time I was talking about in West Harbour is before AJ is in the group:

Need help; can't locate Balmora road texture (or match it)

Recolouring does nothing? Because it looks like it's the right texture, but just needs some brown vertex shading to be applied, or else it's a blended texture with something like 50% dirt texture on top of it, though that latter's only a guess because I don't even recall how Morrowind handles terrain texture blending. I'm afraid I don't know if there's a texture selection tool like an eyedropper where you can just click on the ground to use whatever is used in that place. If I recall correctly, Oblivion has a way you can select a spot on the ground and it'll show a list of what textures are being used in that spot, but I think you had to guess what the opacity percentages were for them. -
There is an unofficial Morrowind patch, if I recall correctly, but I don't know where it is offhand. I can't advise on the graphic mods since there have been newer ones released since I set mine up that seem to be more popular and perhaps more convenient. You'd best search for the many other topics here where people answer the must-have mod questions. All I can say is to avoid mods that "improve" the graphics by making everything but the sky too dark to see in broad daylight without a night vision spell.

I also came to Morrowind after my first TES game was Oblivion, though it sounds like you also played Skyrim in between them, and I did not. I recommend what I did, and play the original Morrowind, modded to improve the graphics. One reason to play the original is that there are thousands of Morrowind mods that you may want to play if you find you like the game, and they won't work if you use Morroblivion or Skywind. You'd be essentially stuck with vanilla Morrowind. Another reason is that there are features, powers, and abilities in Morrowind that don't exist in the later TES games, which you'd be missing out on if you played in a later engine. Each game in the series has removed some features from what came before. If you find you don't like the Morrowind gameplay and decide you don't care about the world of Morrowind mods, then go ahead and play the remakes, and hopefully you can still experience the story.

I'll turn it into a mod. But if you're going off of a playthrough's script, there are some additional files you'll probably need to hear, because there are some variations based on your actions aside from the larger good and evil ones.

Yes, it is. If the effect you want isn't in the list of effects you can put on the item through the normal item properties menu (the silver shards can serve as an example for those), then create two new scripts -- one will apply the effects you want, and the other will remove them. Name one according to this pattern: i_itemtag_aq Your item's actual tag should replace "itemtag" in that script name. Whatever you put in that script will be run when the player acquires that item. Name the other script: i_itemtag_ua Whatever you put in that script will be run when the player loses, sells, destroys, trades, drops, etc. the item. This is how you advance a quest in the journal. Enter this in the console, after enabling debug mode: If that's the only thing the developers did when the quest is completed (which ideally it is), then it should work. But if they did anything else, like setting any custom global variables that they decide to check later instead of just checking the journal status, there could be problems. -
