  1. Hi, I am having a very strange bug with the music in FO3. I have replaced all the default music with other music in mp3 format. What I've noticed is that as the game has progressed I am only getting certain numbers being played (not tracks, but the number in the list). So in Public I have 20 tracks but the game will only play numbers 3,14,7,11,5 and 6 in a cycle. It's not just random chance; I've tested it in game and also replaced the mp3s for those numbers and - hey presto - they're the only numbers that will play. There is nothing wrong with the other mp3s as they will play if selected as one of the "magic numbers". It's the same for the other folders (Explore, Base). So the game seems to be frozen on a fixed set of numbers and I cannot figure out why or how to get it back to normal. I have played before like this in the past without this problem. Things I have already tried: reducing the number of tracks to default, restoring the default music, removing tag information, converting mp3 to Wav. I'm on Windows 7. Any ideas? I am stumped and would really appreciate any help. Cheers, Ben
  2. Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone can me with a weird launcher bug that has affected my Fallout 3 game. The problem is that when I open the Fallout Lancher to enable and change options such as shadows, the changes I make won't stick. I tick the box for "Enable Shadows" and everything looks fine. I close the launcher and start the game and the shadows aren't enabled. When I re-open the launcher the shadows box has been unticked again, although obviously I didn't touch it. The same goes for changes to windowed mode too, whenever I close the launcher it resets back to a previous setting. It's as if the game has taken a "snapshot" of my settings at a particular time and now won't let me change them. I've searched online for quite a while and can't find any mention of this specific problem. I know it's probably caused by a mod, but I cannot imagine that any of them could corrupt the game launcher. So before I gut my game by uninstalling dozens of mods to try and find the culprit, I'm asking if anyone else has ever had the same issue and if so how did they resolve it? Has anyone heard of a mod or FOSE or anything stopping the game launcher from working properly in remembering new options ticked? Many thanks, Ben
  3. Yes! You just saved my game, now I don't need to re-install all my mods and start all over again. Many thanks!
  4. "resetquest 10a214" worked on Sunny for me too. Many thanks onotix!
