I'm thinking of putting together a 'joke' mod & wanted to gauge interest. Any ideas or comments are welcome! Here's what I'm thinking: 1 new perk for female characters: That Time of Month New status effects: Cravings, Cramps, Bloating, Toxic Shock Syndrome. 3 new items: Clean RadPad (napkin model), Dirty RadPad (dishrag model), Radvil That Time of Month: - Every 30-so days, female players gain That Time of Month status effect. - The status effect lasts several days and is then removed. Positive effects: - Bonus damage against male characters. - Increased success chance for intimidation checks when speaking to male characters. Negative effects: - -1 charisma when interacting with female characters. - Reduced success chance for intimidation checks when speaking to female characters. - Female followers can 'sync' with player character: any action that would result in a female follower liking a player action will instead result in the them hating the action. - Any negative affinity gained as above is removed when That Time of Month is. Other status effects with That Time of Month: Cravings: - Players have a high chance of gaining one of a set of Craving status effect. Each status effect is targeted to one type of food (such as Sugar Bombs). - Once enough of the specified type of food is consumed, the negative perk effects are temporarily reduced or removed. - The targeted foods are restricted to 'junk foods'. Cramps: - After sleeping, character has a chance of gaining the Cramps status effect. - This effect temporarily applies the same effects as taking damage (screen blur, grunting noise) but no damage is received. Bloating: - After consuming liquids, character has a chance of gaining the 'Bloated' status effect. - This effect reduces carry weight by a relatively small percentage of total. - -1 charisma. - After enough time, the status effect will disappear. Toxic Shock Syndrome: - Has a chance of being gained when using Dirty RadPad item (see below). - Similar to gaining Infection in survival mode, deals periodic damage to character. This effect deals more damage than Infection. - Can be cured when being healed by a doctor. New Items: Clean RadPad: - This item, when used/equipped, will remove all negative effects of That Time of Month. - Sometimes found in Super Duper Marts. - Otherwise, can be bought from female merchants for a substantial amount of caps. - Once used, becomes a Dirty RadPad. Dirty RadPad: - Like Clean RadPad, when used/equipped removes all negative effects of That Time of Month. - Gives an ever-increasing chance of gaining Toxic Shock Syndrome status effect. - Commonly found on ghouls & female raiders. Radvil: - When consumed, temporarily removes/reduces Cramps side effect. - Consuming too much is lethal. Legality increases if alcohol is consumed after consuming Radvil. - Can be commonly bought from doctor. Again, any comments or suggestions are appreciated! I'm also thinking of creating a counterpart It's a Man perk for male characters, somewhat equivalent to having a bruised male ego. Still trying to think how that would work.
