  1. Am I the only one here that's disturbed by this? The FCC, a bunch of government officials who were never elected, just made a declaration that is now pretty much going to be treated like a law. This, in and of itself, is nothing short of illegal! The government just took more power unto itself without congressional approval.

At one time (2012) there was a core group of Liberal leaning people who dominated the debate threads. As much as I hate to say this (being a Liberal myself), they engaged in some shifty tactics that resulted in the internet take-down mentality. Even worse, in a few instances the staff here sided with them. Not only did this core group attack Conservatives, they also attacked other Liberals, or anyone who didn't agree with them. The people this core targeted left and took the debate spirit with them. Then this core faded away but the damage had already been done.

Actually, I remember in February one such poster who had started numerous left-leaning threads got a 60-day ban on the forums for her actions in the debates section. She hasn't been back since.

  3. I ran into a problem. Whenever I try to load a save game I get the loading screen as normal, but instead of bringing the game up, it immediately crashes to the desktop!

Now I've searched this forum for stuff about corrupted saves and CTD's when loading. I have reinstalled the game, removed all the mods, deleted all the saves, started a brand new game and only went as far as following Hadvar indoors. Then I closed the game and waited about half an hour. I got the same result.

    Does anybody have any ideas??

Why not it makes more sense then most theories I've heard. Given certain world leaders, who will remain nameless, have tried to do that exact same thing in human history although by military means. In this theory they're doing the exact same thing except it's economic conquest.

Something tells me they've been trying too long for them to not realize it won't work.

As your influence climbs there is now a system in place that is so megalithic, that it has the capability to manipulate people, not to hurt them, not to torture them, but to manipulate them. Make them think the ways you want, implement social ideas, change the way people view good and evil, turn society on its head, make things that were taboo, socially acceptable even trendy, so your degenerate friends in your little club can finally come out of the closet. You now hold the world in the palm of your hand, you no longer care about money you have more then you could ever use. Its a tool now, to get what you want. The ability to make the future what ever you want, but, something went wrong during your families rise to power and subsequent generations that sprang from it. You became more and more degenerate as you climbed, not because you where sadistic, or evil. But because there was never any consequences for your actions, everything felt right, so it must be right, you could hear people complain, but you never experienced what they have. Neither do you care anymore, and the masses have no idea of the great plans you have for the future. And sacrifices must be made for the greater good. So in your climb you have become: degenerate, arrogant, greedy, and a mass murder all the while you never realize the monster you've become, because in your mind, you believe your doing the right thing.

Of course it happens, but three generations of such despotry is the most I've ever seen. Either someone finds religion or gets usurped or otherwise meets an early end.

I would like to point out something though, how is it in this particular instance they are referencing Julius Caesar, i mean where is the information that says that's why he was killed? Or did it even have a banking system given that were talking BC here.

Actually most of the Roman Empire's reign happened in the early AD's. Remember that Jesus was executed by Romans.

As far as Caesar is concerned, look up Plutarch.

Yeah that was my thinking to, to be honest I'm surprised you know about the Jews and their banking history, anytime I mention It I get called a racist even if I'm just linking articles.

There was a discussion about antisemitism in a class, once upon a time. I also found a couple of Neo-Nazi propaganda films on You Tube accusuing the Jews of manipulating events from behind the scene etc... And yes, they made no secret about who they were.

However I do have a question, how much research would someone have to do, to get the information that is in my original post?

It depends on the person's imagination. It also depends on how much he thinks he knows.

  5. So there's a 2000+ year conspiracy by people who handle the money to do what? Rule the world? In that case they haven't done a very good job. Keep the wealth to themselves? They would've realized by now that they can't take it with them. Destroy economies? Make people suffer? They can't all be that sadistic.

Now I haven't read the whole wall of text, but here's some alternate theories on some of them:

Julius Caesar was in the middle of an immense power grab when he got assassinated. The end result was the eventual death of those assassins and Augustus Caesar completing said power grab.

Jesus made an enemy of every religious leader out there. It was they who set up the mock trial. It was they who persuaded Pilate to have him crucified.

The Rothschild family is Jewish. For centuries money handling was one of the few industries Jews were allowed enter in Europe. Now they're implicated in many banking conspiracy theories. Guess they can't win.

Hugo Chavez himself made 2 failed coup attempts during the 1990s. Maybe he decided that since he couldn't force his way into power, he'd try another route.

Also, with all the praises the guy heaped on Chavez, I'm guessing that he, too, is a Communist. As a student of history myself, I have noticed that when a Marxist writes a history paper, he tends to have already drawn his conclusions before looking for relevant facts. The result is him looking only for things that support his assertion with anything to the contrary is ignored.

  6. ...but only the government grants you right to begin with...

    Wow... just... wow...

Here's a shocker, colourwheel: governments do not grant rights, they take them away! That's why the framers of the U.S. constitution worded the Bill of Rights the way they did. They recognized that simple truth and instead of saying "The people shall have..." in the first amendment, they said Congress shall pass no law ..." They're not words that grant freedom; they're words that restrict the government from taking them away.

Perhaps there is a lesson to be learned there about the danger posed by demonizing those who hold opposing political opinions, and persecuting them based on that perceived threat despite a lack of evidence to support it.

Perhaps the greater leason to be learned is no matter if you think people are free to speak their mind "speculating" if something is true or not, people need to be more cautious when driving a political message with hate and fear to avoid any demonizing of those who hold opposing political opinions so there won't be any kind of persecution to begin with...

Then perhaps you should reconsider your own OP and not blame right-wing rhetoric before all the facts are in.

What do you think motivated this person to send out these ricin laced letters to public officals?

Where could this person possibly have gotten the idea someone is going to come to their house and take their precious fire arms away?

Looks like I'll have to change my answers on this one!

To the first question: such a hatred for her husband that she doesn't care whom she hurts in order to get him into trouble.

The second question is still irrelevant.

  9.

What do you think motivated this person to send out these ricin laced letters to public officals?

Where could this person possibly have gotten the idea someone is going to come to their house and take their precious fire arms away?

To the first question: a misguided sense of patriotism and a warped perception of self-defense. Instead he made a decision that will land him in jail for a very long time. By the way, he deserves to be.

The second question is irrelevant. Millions of people heard and believe what Lapierre said yet only one man decided to assassinate or scare public officials in such a way. Millions of people have also heard and believed the environmentalist belief that the Earth is doomed unless we do something about it, yet only one decided to break into the Discovery Channel and force a change in their programming. In the end it's like blaming violent videos games for school shootings.

  10.

My thought is Radical Right wing rhetoric is to blame for this persons extreme to commit domestic terror and making threats to end the lives of Obama and bloomberg.

And how are you so certain on this? How do you know that "Radical Right wing rhetoric is to blame" when it's an ongoing investigation?

You can't have it both ways, Colour. If you want to apply a standard to someone then apply to yourself, first.

  11. And how is what you're suggesting any less of a persecution? We can both argue the falseness of these positions until we're blue in the face. The problem is whether or not the rhetoric actually told the psychos to do what they did. The answer to that is no.

Freedom of speech means tolerating differing world views and not seeking to punish entire institutions for the actions of of a few. If we did that, then the only freedom we have is to parrot what the government tells us to do. I hear it's not fun.

  12. Ever since Warcraft III first came out I discovered that pre-ordering is pointless. I just went to Wal-mart at 2 AM and got it right then and there. Since I was working 2nd shift at the time, I was able to poke fun at one of my co-workers who had claimed his pre-order during lunch.

  13. Different areas mean different terrain, climate, resources, etc. Those things went a long way in influencing how societies developed. They also went into how ideas were formed.

As far as being judgmental is concerned, I'm calling one man's words into question. He's labeling billions of people as violent because of how they see themselves.
