You askin to get banned man don't admit your game is pirated on the nexus just buy it it's a great game anyway and worth the money..as for the topic i'm updated to the latest patch and i get a crash every once in awhile at the logo screen sometimes not..it's really weird..when the game loads i can play for hours no problem but it just occasionally crashes at the logo right back to desktop anyone else heard of this problem? I do have a bunch of mods installed but it happens with a fresh vanilla install too..and i took of the official high res pack.

well to remove the official high res texture pack that seams to automatically install itself if you reinstall skyrim and had it before just delete the bsa's that come with it and remove the lines in the skyrim.ini that are associated with them if you added them and any esp or esm..i forget if it came with any.

in my case it was skse the only mod i used that relied upon it was sky ui i spent hours trying to figure out why my game was CTD so much and then i stopped using the skse loader and used the regular launcher and voila no crash..i can still use sky ui somewhat maybe not all its features and have the message about not having the right version of skse but ill put up with that for now till it's fixed..hope that helped somewhat.

Honestly I'm in the same boat as you bud my game even crashes at the main menu a lot as well sometimes not most times yes..i reinstalled the game installed one mod at a time which took hours and then i started the game using the regular launcher not skse and no crash...using the skse loader messed it up im guessing and i updated and everything..no skse for me for now..

is there a way to remove mods from you tracker? mine has become a bit bloated over the last couple months.

hmm maybe my screenshot through enb is turned off or not available..im using a variation of the newest enb..i dont see anywhere in the .ini's that come with it for screenshot enablin. Edit: nvm found it..my key for enb screens is insert found it in the enbseries.ini

Just wondering how i take screenshots with enb effects and fxaa post process injector effects in them..cuz i tried both f12 (steam screens) and prnt scrn button and they both seem to come out weird..f12 doesn't seem like it keeps enb with it or just crappy quality prob cuz of jpg format and prnt scrn comes out really dark and i have to adjust brightness and contrast..should i just try fraps or something?

skyedit is good for adding custom weapon meshes and stuff but doesn't seem to let me path for custom armor meshes..the "..." button doesn't work maybe its not implemented yet..so maybe someone can clarify on how to properly path to a custom mesh in Tessnip cuz im clueless..i want to use my armor as standalone and i have custom meshes as well as the firstperson .nifs as well..please and thank you! :thumbsup:

So I'm in a bit of a dilemma..I'm working on a mod which changes Aela and Farkas's armor to that of the rest of the circle of the companions (wolf armor). I changed the OTFT in DOFT to the companionarmor variants i want and it works but only for awhile..what i mean by that is if you haven't started the companion quest yet then you'll see why eventually on the **SPOILER** quest where farkas is you shielf brother (pretty early on in companion questline) he changes back to his steel armor..As does Aela later in questline. Any ideas what triggers this and where i can fix?

This is the correct way to change their outfit yes and to fix names all you need to do is edit the FULL string by typing in their name manually make sure you turn off hex mode first. Still though if you're a player that uses subtitles their name is still weird symbols but if you don't everything should be fine if you walk up to the NPC their name will show correctly.

I just had a quick question and I'm sure I know the answer already but better to ask before i do something stupid or I might regret...anyway i was reading through the rules and it says no porting game content from other games but i was wondering if i uploaded a mod which changes the main menu music with a song from an album i bought on amazon from Jesper Kyd's Ultimatum album if that is illegal. Just a quick yes or no would suffice. Thanks in advance!
