Alright Steam Deck folks who don't know how to make texture mods work with Vortex. First navigate to this mod here and download the manual version https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/944 extract it. Next navigate to the Compdata Prefx folder it should be 22370 go to C Drive, now make your way to the My Documents/Fallout 3/Data Folder. There an Fallout.Ini folder should be present open it and follow the instructions that came with the mod. Now paste the .bsa file from the mod in the Data Folder. You are halfway done at this point now go to your Commom/Steamapps/Fallout3/Data folder do the same thing and drop the .bsa file in that folder as well. Now presto you have working Texture mods on the Steam Deck The Program version will not work correctly.

I have been racking my head to get these to work for FO3 I got Vortex on the Deck and can install simple mods like weapons and followers. Yet, I can't seem to get texture mods to work. I have no issues running texture mods in Skyrim and New Vegas but no luck in Fo3. I tried activating the Archive Invalidation.BSA through Vortex but it does not seem to work. Any tips ?
