  1. There is a mod that adds caravan bots that does this for you when you create a bot in the settlement then assign it to a supply line. just connects two settlements at a time, but can have multiple caravans going from one city to different cities.
  2. Sorry, I don't do anything with Epic. That's why I bought it through steam. Even then, a lot of the mods will not work with the new release. I have tried various ways of using them; including putting them into the mods folder and trying to get the game to recognize them. As a long time fan of the Table Top game, I was really looking forward to trying MW5 Reloaded. Makes me want to cry.
  3. so, the mods folder may have been moved on y'alls' systems. On mine, purchased through steam it is located at D:\gaming\steamapps\common\MechWarrior 5 Mercenaries\MW5Mercs
  4. very few of the nexus mods will work with the steam version of the game. It appears that you have to download the mods through steam if you bought the game through steam. This really peeves me as I wanted to try several mods, none of which are on the steam list. They only have 7 listed, none of which I really care to use right away. The ones I really want are the better spawns and the better zoom mods. Not being able to use the better spawns mod makes the game pretty much unplayable for me.
  5. So, I have the Vortex app downloaded and use it to manage the Nexus mods for Fallout 4. About a week ago, I downloaded several mods in anticipation of the release of MW5 Mercenaries to Steam. Got the game, but now vortex can't detect it. I don't seem to be able to add any mods to it. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I wouldn't know what. I had vortex scan specifically for Mechwarrior on my drives. I even pointed it to the Steam/Common/Mechwarrior folder. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing? there are, at least a couple of these mods I really want to try out. Thank you in advance for any help/advice/instructions.
  6. I think that this is something that should automatically be in any game. If a quest can't be completed, then why should we have to continue to scroll through them when looking at/for other quests in the list. One example of a quest I would remove: the kid in the refrigerator quest is given. The person playing the game has the Eternal Warfare MOD going. The player gets to said refrigerator to find the kid with the quest marker over his head is exposed and dead. Well, because he can't talk to the kid and get the quest updated, he can no longer continue that quest. He wishes to delete it from his list of quests but can't. There is nothing he can do about it as he scrolls through looking for other quests in the list. I use Vortex to download MODs which, I believe, uses the Nexus MOD manager. I notice this request is about three years old and am wondering if I have missed it somewhere. Maybe because of the name?
  7. As a long time Battletech player (since 1988), I have never seen a 'mech with a turret or a 360 degree torso twist. Not even the Raven or Annihilator. However, there are several designs that have "extended" torso twist, like the Urbanmech, the Wasp, the Exterminator, and several others. However, there are also several designs that have no twist like the Locust and the Jenner. I think if there were a mod that included one, it would need to include the other as well.
  8. It seems, from having previewed the 11+ pages of 20 mods per page that we have several differing rulesets for MW 5 being used. The two most prominent are MWO and Table Top. Then there are some "what I (as the modder) thought would be cool" rules as well. Is there a possiblilty to get the mods divided as according to which ruleset is being used? For example, I never played MWO. Never will. If I wanted to play World of Tanks or "Capture the Flag with 'Mechs" then I would. I am more of a stories and mercenary building type of guy. I also would like my game to be as close to the Table Top version as possible. So, if I could just filter according to "TT rules" I would be able to find the mods I would most likely use quicker.
