My problem is that Skyblivion and Skywind are going to need the script extender in order to function, and I don't want to be forced to go back to Oldrim for anything, especially since not only is it unstable but it's got this weird dialogue audio bug where random words get cut out of dialogue lines. For example that guy who tells you "I work for Belethor, at the General Goods store" will sound like what he actually said was "I work for... at the General Goods store."
I read the update. I'm too cynical to assume that work will indeed be resumed on SKSE64 any time this century, especially given that many people seem to prefer the far more unstable Oldrim for some reason in the first place. Asking them to consider handing the project over to someone else if they truly haven't the time or inclination to do it themselves isn't offensive, it's logical.
Oldrim is far from stable, just saying. Nowhere near as stable as the Special Edition. But yeah, Ian, take care of your IRL stuff first. :) We all have faith in you guys, and the wait on our end will be worth it.
