Not MMM, but Mantis Operation. Tried spawning them but couldn't replicate. Will keep you updated. -
Basically, sometimes (rather frequently) when I kill a venomlurk (the small ones in green) in addition to be gibbed; the critter creates some kind of mini-torrential water explosion/waterfall that goes on and on. It is very loud, damages the player, and never goes away; no matter the time or entering/exiting zones. Pretty sure this isn't intended. I have the perk that increases gibbing and increases damage. (5 percent ?) -- maybe a conflict? Also running Imperfection (doubtfully the cause) and the FOOK2 patch for MMM. Can't find the creature in FO3Edit, or I'd spawn a few for screenshots. Any way to troubleshoot this from the console? Looks like it could be a sidearm/armor. Was probably removed because it's copyright infringement, unless you use your NV files manually.

Finally worked by using the thingyid from FO3 Edit, rather than "gbo".

Trying to apply it to "K-9", Fook2's robotic dog. I hit the console, right click on K-9, type "gbo" to get thingyid, then "setessential [thingyid] 1" Maybe it's because he's listed in FO3 Edit under "Creature", rather than "NPC"? Or I'm doing things incorrectly? It worked for the other follower, "Malcolm".

Maybe 5-10 minutes? Depends of the place. Megaton for example is crash free. I have many texture mods, though; and many background processes.

Won't happen. Maybe if at some point (in 2-3+ years) if they make it available on GOG. But AFAIK, the many guides on Steam make it work with 7+ -
Found the culprit, it's FOSE. I had applied the 4GB fix to it, as well than Fallout3.exe. You only need to apply it to the latter, otherwise it creates memory leaks.

Doubt it's the number of mods, XP compatibility seems to have decreased their frequency by a lot. The STEP guide has way more mods than I do, and it is reportedly rather stable. http://wiki.step-project.com/User:Kelmych/Fallout3

Have done all the relevant .ini tweaks, also have the stutter remover and anti-crash. Load order mostly based on: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/18269/? Any ideas? It happens totally randomly. Maybe it's because I have many high quality textures? No crashes at all, just freezes.

Is there an easy way to disable the Phalanx mechanism that makes companion unavailable - when they die - for a few days past level 14? I want it to remain on they early system by default. Original mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/1925/? (assumed changed in FOOK2)

Are you sure you used LOOT correctly? Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch.esm should be after Zeta. Moreover, delete all your merged patches. You're supposed to have one and one only; and it's supposed to be at the end. There's a merged version of MMM there: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/16787/? only download 6.1 for the meshes/textures/sound folders -

So, it crashes even without the mods? You could try to verify the game's cache.
