  1. One problem I have with some armors is the fact that they have very long skirts/Faulds which leads to a lot of clipping when moving.

Someone should do versions of the Chainmail, Dwarven, Mithril, Elven, Glass and Ebony armors with a shorter skirt/Fauld so that the legs don't clip through them.

  2. While I was creating a weapons balance mod by copying some info from another of my mods using TES4Edit, I noted that my new balance mod considers the old mod as a "master file" alongside the Oblivion.esm.

I there a way that I can unlink the old mod from the new mod?

  3. One of the things I most dislike about Oblivion is the wimpy attack animations that lack windup and speed.

While there are some new animations replacers and mods, I found the ones I used not to be of my liking, specially the "stylish" animations that make as if the characters are dancing. I want the characters to simply attack, not advance forwards or do crazy circles. I want these animations to be more in-line with those of Skyrim.

  4. For some reason, some black lines can be seen in the middle of the heads of NPCs and the PC.

I have tried different resolutions, high textures, Anti-Aliasing and other graphic options but they are still there.

I use the vanilla heads and textures of NPCs and the PC.

  5. In theory it can be mods which are using DisablePlayerControls or DisableMouse/DisableControl commands and aren't handle them properly (for example through save loads), but it seems it would be something in your system. Is this happening for keyboard, mouse or both?

You can try to set "bBackground Mouse" or "bBackground Keyboard" to 1 in Oblivion.ini (it's located in directory where game saves are) and see if it improves things.

If it's not helping, try to recall if that was some driver/codec updates, more important if you're using some gamer keyboard/mouse.

I did the bBackground Keyboard/Mouse thing and still have the bug. I did a reinstall and a verification and still. The main difference is that now the game last like 30 minutes before the controls stop working.

I also use a normal wired keyboard and mouse.

I fear is a codec issue since Windows 10 tends to update constantly and maybe a sound codec is no longer compatible, but I have little evidence for this.

  6. My game freezes, not crashes, randomly and constantly during normal gameplay ever since I modified some of my balance mods and deactivated some mods that removed objects in the world.

I already have the FALOUT.INI fix since I use the GOG edition but the constant freezing that forces me to Alt-Tab to close the game are really annoying me.

  7. I created a custom Faction that is friendly with the Imperial Watch, the IC Faction, and themselves, while they hate the Mythic Dawn and the Daedra Faction.

I should also note that some NPCs are in the vanilla Cheydinhall, Leyawiin and Bravil Factions, not the new custom faction, and even they follow me around after some time.

  8. I decided to make my own population mod by inserting custom NPCs into the Imperial City. I created many NPCs, formed a few Lvl Creature Lists, and programmed a few packages.

Upon testing the mod, everything seems to be fine, then out of nowhere, some of the custom NPCs will follow me around and accuse of trespassing yet no bounty will appear.

I don't know what causes this bug, any ideas?

  9. I remember doing two things before this started happening.

    * I downloaded the mod "Dark Dungeons" which made Tombs, Fortresses and Caves darker, which I assume maybe conflicted with the "Legion Forts" mod which made some Marauder and Bandit-occupied forts into Legion's.

    * Then I added the skeleton.nif to the ArchiveInvalidation text file since I don't know how to make ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!.esm work.

  10. I actually manage to fix this issue.

I had to delete the meshes and texture Master Files and redownload them via File Verification. I think the CS eventually loses the path to the Master Files (or files inside the Master Files get corrupted) when loading FaceGen after some time using it, especially if you are constantly moving and deleting mods.

  11. I remember having this problem with Fallout 3 where the Construction Set would crash upon loading FaceGen.

This only happens with the New TES Construction Set, the old Construction Set works fine but its unable to edit .esp that were modified by the New TES Construction Set.

This is recent, as the CS worked and I edited or created many faces, so I don't know what causes it to crash. I have tried the common "fixes" such as clicking the preview check among others.
