Okay, so I re-installed all my mods and this time left out a few. One of the ones I left out was Snap 'n Build. I still had homemaker, without any patches. It seems for the most part that fixed it. However, I HIGHLY recommend you do not use Settlement Keywords, as it is not compatible with the newest versions of fallout. The modder behind it is taking a break, and someone else is taking over for a bit, so updates will be much slower. Right now settlement mods are in a tight place, so it might be best to just uninstall them all and wait. The most stable time will be after the next 3 dlc are released, two of which are workshop dlc. The other being something called NukaWorld. I actually just uninstalled Homemaker, because I want to be able to experience the workshop stuff far harbor has to offer. Hope this helped.

It would be nice if settlements felt more autonomous. Currently the settlers feel robotic, lifeless, and boring. I have both Better Settlers and Don't Call Me Settler, those help a ton, however; the overall immersion of settler life just isn't there. You would have to use your imagination, but an example might be that a specific settler drinks at the bar a lot, so that is where he spends his free time. You would require the GECK for most of this. There are so many new mod possibilities that come with Fallout 4, it's exciting!

I know my list does not include the quest stages, I did a couple minute search for any way to find quest stages, and came up with nothing. However, my list has all quest IDs as well as many other ids. Check it out here, it may help you. Please give a rate up if you like it! Woops, my mistake. It was the foip patch for WMK and FWE I have. Would you recommend keeping that patch and adding the one you suggested? Having played a little more, I am crashing every now and then. I think this may be from the foip patch, but it could also be from the lack of the patch you recommended. As to the instructions of an earlier responder, I left the blackened patch I DO have out of the merged, and put it below merged in the load order. Now that I will have two blackened, would you recommend the same thing, or merge them all? Thanks Rip -

I got the one with PB, MMM, FWE, EVE. Went with one FOIP patch for fwe and RH_ Ironsights, works well. Havnt had any crashes yet. If you would like to use my load order. -

Okay so I found out the issue is when a non surround sound playback device is set to surround. Changed it to stereo, and now I have my dialogue back. I'm not sure why this just now became an issue, but I'm glad I fixed it. One thing though regarding blackened: There isn't a patch for MMM, RH_Ironsights, FWE, and EVE. Those are the four I need patched. What do you suggest? Thanks, Rip -

Reinstalled the game, as well as uninstalled what had changed since the issue began. Still having the audio issue. -

Thanks for your help. Regarding paradox: the only parado I need the original mod for is MMM, the others I only need to use paradox mergers. With blackened, I talked to benwah a ton about this, and I can't seem to remember which one he said was too old to use, blackened or foip. Regardless, before i,made the post everything worked well. Then I installed wmk, and a patch for underground hideout so it worked with fwe. After that, a lot of audio, including sprinting, dialogue, and other misc stuff disappeared. Also, the map is always green, instead of being in full color. Your mod install list proved helpful, is there anything you can think of that would cause the issues I listed above? I am reinstalling the game to see if files were corrupted. Thanks -

When you activate mods it will overwrite files. Depending on which order you a activate, files will be overwritten in different orders. If I do not activate them in the right order, components of certain mods will not function as they should, as they may have been overwritten by another mod. By activation order I do not mean which mods I want, but instead the actual order in which they are installed. I hope this makes sense. -

I think you misunderstood the question. It was not about load order, but rather activation order. They are different. Load order comes into play after activation. However, when activating, some things overwrite others, thus making the actual order you activate mods important. Also Loot is the updated version of BOSS, and is better. -
Hello there everyone, I've been modding fallout 3 a lot recently, and was lucky enough to get BenWah's help on some stuff, but I have recently has some issues. My load order is rather large, totally at 59 plugins. I would appreciate it if anyone could look at my mod list, and help me sort out an activation order I can use in the future when reinstalling. I get very confused when it comes to the order I should activate fallout 3 mods. I never had the issue with Skyrim. If you need any more info other than the image I will attach, let me know. Okay. If you find out what mod is conflicting with expanded Riverwood, then put that mod after it in the load order, it may solve your problem. This might be done simply by moving Expanded Riverwood to an early load position, before any armor mods. Riplyn

Have you tried Using WryeBash? I believe that's the name, it can sometimes make things compatible with each other. You will want to either look that up or get some sort of clarification as I have never used WryeBash. Glad I could help! Riplyn

Hey all, I need help with a bug I've encountered twice now, the first time I thought it would be a one time thing, but now it happened again with a new save (after I deleted the first one). The bug is NPCs are all acting essential, where I will lower they're health all the way, then they will merely fall to the ground, recover, and get back up as any other essential npc would. Both times this bug happened after I slept at an inn. I found it this time as a the Forsworn guy was attacked by a guard in Markarth, but after the guard "killed" him, the guy just got back up. I then tested this by using the kill command on a guard, and sure enough the guard just fell to his knees. Hi Ungvaar, I am seeing a lot of "[mod name here] does not exist or is not loaded" in your paprus log, such as: [03/27/2014 - 02:33:23AM] Error: File "KnapsackEnhanced.esp" does not exist or is not currently loaded. This may be the result of you not uninstalling a mod, but instead simply un-checking it, however I'm not sure. Look into this a little in your load order and get back to me. However, I also notice that Requiem is not at the bottom of your load order. Requiem should always be as close to the bottom of your load order as possible. That is important here because some of the armory mods you have loaded after Requiem might interfere. Some exceptions include alternate start or Amazing Follower Tweaks, which both have to be loaded after Requiem. That raises another point; UFO - as far as I'm aware - has not been updated for quite some time, as the author is no longer developing it, and because of this it will have more and more bugs the longer it has been since it's last update. I highly recommend AFT (amazing follower tweaks) as it is very well done, and is currently being updated. Reply if you have any questions, and I will do my best to answer them! - Riplyn

Thanks Eternum! I'll give it a shot! I'm trying SkyRe right now, and I am surprised how many elements are included in both it and Requiem... I haven't played it enough to say I like it more than requiem though. I will say however, that in requiem I managed to make 70,000+ gold with potions alone...

Hello, I just would like some clarification on how reliant I should be on the BOSS load order sorter. Will I need to change the load order at all after I run it? I know sometimes there are load order problems that sometimes don't crash the game, but can cause bugs. Thanks a ton eternum, I'll make sure to fix that! Also, it is very possible I picked it up sometime and don't remember it; however, I only recently started using NMM and I have been pretty picky about what mods I download. It might be part of a steam mod I don't have installed, as it is disabled when I launch Skyrim through steam... :confused: Dkboy24, sadly, it says the author is DEFAULT.... :( You all seem like nice people, if you play Dota 2 and want to play with me sometime post a comment on my steam profile @Riplyn In the meantime, I think that unless someone happens to have the same esp as me, and can tell me exactly what mod is adding it, I am happy with my previous conclusion (" It might be part of a steam mod..."). Thanks for all the help!
